wat does that mean

Calls, leaves no message and when the phone is answered no one says anything.

I don't know who this is calling. They til someone answers and doesn't speak then hangs up.

Call several times, but never leaves a message.

Calls repeatedly even though it is the wrong number- idiots. Doubt they are even Americans.

I have been receiving these calls for at least the last several months, it has now increased to 2 or more times a day.  For some reason it comes through on my fax line.   I get no actual fax from them it just disconnects.  I called the number once, still no company name they say they are a financial services company, they say they do not sell anything so they are not governed by the do not call list.  I'm afraid that if I give them my number and tell them to take me off their list, they just will call me more and on my regular line. I tried to pin them down as to what type of business, but they said I have to answer questions, personal information, before they can tell me what they do. I asked for an example of their business, but they just repeated they are a financial service firm.  It seems likely it is a collection agency, except that I have no debt issues at all.   I don't trust them at all.

Same as other - they called my cell phone 4 time in 4 weeks but no answer when I pick up.  How can we make it stop?

These are HARRASSMENT calls. They obviously have no interest in selling or collecting as they call and there is nobody on the line. I have ordered the AT&T call block service and it stops these terrorist calls.

it is a collection agency.  I owe nothing to these people. I believe it is one of those agencies that buy up past debt and then harass you over it.  they refused to tell me the original creditor until they could confirm my address. when i refused and stated my rights he kept arguing w me and saying he wasnt going to break the law to give me info i wasnt verified on

Got a call from this number they tried to act like it was someone I knew

Caller: Hey man whats up, this is "name witheld" right..
Me: Hello who is this?
Caller: This is ( first name) right?
Me: um, who is this
Caller:This Mike I'm looking for (first name)
Is this him..
ME WHO is this..
Caller: This is Mike and I have pesonal bussiness with Mr.xxxxxxx,
Mr xxxxxxxx, can you verify your social and current address..
ME: Mike right?
Caller:Yeah
Me : Tell you what give me your social, home address, And personal cell number, and let me verify your
Information I will have Mr.Xxxxxxx call you at home..
Caller :Sir I cant give you my info, I need to verify yours.
Me: why cant you?
Caller: I don't give out information I verify it.
Me : well that makes two of us..and I hung up..

Haven't heard from them again.

Do not call again.
