Yeah. we got a phone call from them yesterday (and did not answer) and we got a phone call from them again today (again, did not answer). No messages, either.

I just got a call from this number and I called it back and it said it was concerning, "delivery of your local daily newspaper."...But we don't get the local newspaper because it sucks! haha!  SO, I think they are just trying to get people to subscribe.

I got a call from that number too. This is the second time they're calling but I have not picked up yet. So VM as well.

It's a call from the Daily Herald trying to get you to subscribe.

This company has now tried this on me twice in the last month.  Previously the number was a DC 202-607-2945.  When asked why the Anderson Independent Mail was calling from Washington, DC, the guy laughed and said he was in "Anderson, South Carolina"  which was an odd way to say it.  

I've put an email into the paper's circulation department to see if it's a legitimate company they've hired to make their sales calls or not.  I have a feeling it's a scam, trying to get bank/credit card info.

Getting repeated calls from this number. Put my number on the National DO NOT CALL LIST. Now I am getting more than ever.

I let my newspaper subscription lapse in Albuquerque, NM and this number called me two weeks later to resubscribe.  I didn't.  I got another call from the same number tonight and didn't hear the phone ring---no message left so I googled it and found this site.  Looked back on my phone and realized it was the same number as before.

Have received repeated calls from this number.  I did answer it once and told them I was not interested and told them to remove my number from their database.  Well, it's obvious to me that my discussion with this individual did not work.  I am reporting them to the FTC.  Each violation, when they call a "Do Not Call Number" is a $16,000.00 fine to the originating source.  I also have an air horn ready for the next idiot that calls my home.  Maybe that will get them to stop harrassing me.

I have had 36 calls from this number since February 27.  I never answer and they never leave a message.  Oh well if it is a person they are wasting a lot of time.

This number has clled me at least 10 times.  When I answer they hang up and when I don't no message.  How do i get them to stop?

This number calls my cell phone non stop daily. If it's a newspaper trying to get me to subscribe they should probably research who they are calling and where they are located.  I'm in Bflo NY

About two months ago, I began getting calls in Rochester, NY, from this number every day or two in the evening.

Just called mobile phone (on Do Not Call list)....left no message.

I, too, will report them to the FTC.

The Caller ID says "Customer Svc". and the number is 480.553.9009. I've never answered it, but now I know who it is.

Get call 2 - 3 times a day. Voicemail sounds like a bar background so I googled #. I live in Idaho so I don't know why they would need me to renew a subscription back east. I tend to agree with the person with the blow horn! Does a "do no call list" exist?

Just got the same call on my cell phone, which is also on the do not call register.  It appears to be the Anderson Independent Mail Newspaper trying to get me to subscribe.  I canceled them two years ago because the newspaper is an inaccurate pile of crap that I will NEVER allow in my home.   I have complained before, but this time they have crossed the line.  I will file a complaint with the FTC/FCC.  I’ve had enough of being disturbed.

I have been getting calls from this number about 3-4 times daily. I answered it one time, and the person told me they were from the Buffalo News. They wanted me to pay for a news subscription over the phone but i declined. I did however provide my name and address... and never received anything.

Am I at any additional risk for doing that? I just found out about this website today, i wished i had known earlier!
