Same security system scam, different number...

Spammer-calling my unlisted number.   Must be using a robodialer

just called my DC area cell phone & left no message. most likely telemarketer/robo call.  

Received call to my second line which I do not use and no messege

Have been receiving "robo" calls from this number since 9 am this morning on our company switchboard,....have already received over 150 calls so far today in an hour's time. So very annoying!!!

I call the number back and their machine said to press a number to be removed from their call list within 24-48 hours. But, I didn't push anything because it's all spam/scam. Too much going on today for them to waste people's time with robotic phone calls.

That is criminal interference with your company's business. Have your telecommunications manager contact your account rep at the phone company to block the caller.  You may also want your company's attorney to investigate and perhaps sue the company responsible for the calls.

Do consider maybe getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $60.00 or so.

Robo call for security system

i answered this time and they hung up on me.

Call to my cell phone from this number. Of course I didn't answer.

-Called our (703) house number and showed up on caller id as "CUSTOMER SRV"
-I did not answer and no message was left

but no message left, and I expected only from a Telemarketer.

The philosophy is to always avoid answering them. That is, let a machine handles a machine,
and if that proves to be so simple, with respect to exploitation of technologies (as expected.)

Junk Call

This is a "Home Protection Services" Company out of Seattle Washington.  I attempted to speak with "Anna" and let her know she is spamming our business.  She kept saying is this a homeowner, I said yes and to please quit interupting me so I could talk to her, she said "not if you are going to talik to me that way, and she hung up on me".

Now they're getting very technical. I just received a call from the Home Security guys based in Seattle over my computer! It came in via Microsoft Lync which was forwarded to my cell.

I received an autodialer call which caller ID displayed as 480-588-0324 in Arizona. I accepted the call and was connected to someone who wanted to pre-qualify me as a homeowner to receive a free home security system. She identified her company as "Home Protection Services" with main offices in Seattle, WA but said they have offices in other states as well. This person transferred me to a closer. He said he'd have a free home security system put in my house with door and motion sensor. I pushed for information on the company to see if they were legitimate and acted as if I'm a senior. He said they are "Secure 1," which I doubt because he would not give me a website, phone number or any other way to verify. He wanted me to commit to $54.99 a month monitoring fee "guaranteed rate" for the next 36 months which even without upselling and extra charges would be nearly $2,000 for a very basic alarm system. He said he would give me their website and phone number and all of that after I agreed to be placed on the installer's schedule. I told him I needed to talk to my wife first and needed something to show her. He continued to avoid confirming or providing any company information. He said he could give me the senior discount at $49.95 a month. After a few minutes of this I heard someone else in the background suggesting to cut me off. The call showed as still being connected to my cell phone but no voice. The call sounded like it had a delay and was a VOIP (internet call) which means that they can pick the number to show up on your caller ID as if they are located anywhere they want.

Folks, I am actually a police officer who has worked many telemarketing fraud schemes. Don't fall for this one. You get this phone number on caller ID or a similar pitch, save yourself a headache and tell them "place me on your do-not call list and don't call me back." Next - don't answer calls from them again or accept this type of scheme from any other number they happen to switch to. Find local reputable service with an office you can see/visit.
