I would like to clarify that the calls that come from this telephone number are indeed GO DADDY. This phone number is used as the techincal contact number that web designers, web design companies and so called hosting providers are given when they become a reseller of GoDaddy services. Best28.com makes a commission by selling GoDaddy products and services. I know this because I am a godaddy reseller and I give the same phone number to my clients if they need technical assistance with their accounts. Go Daddy calls their customers whether direct or through a reseller occassionally to offer deals and to renew domains/services.

I had an issue with my mail server spamming about 6 months ago and was blacklisted...joy.

Anyway, I resolved the issue and de-listed my ip via various CBL sites. The funny thing is that one list continued the blacklisting:

Your access to this mail system has been rejected due to spam or virus content. If you believe that this failure is in error, please submit an unblock request at  http://unblock.secureserver.net When I would go to this site the number 480-624-2500 was displayed as a contact no.

From the above posts (thank you) I saw that Big Daddy (Australia) is the owner of the phone number 480-624-2500 which was displayed as a contact number on the link above. I spoke to Tech support who I told I had continuously applied to remove my ip but with no success. After some begging the Tech support person removed our blacklisting.

Without this site I would still be looking for someone to contact.

This phone number was given me by my bank, after I called to ask why I was charged 123.90 for "recur domain services" and when I called, a tech told me that the only way I could resolve this issue was to give him my bank routing numbers. I said I'd give him my name, but nothing else and he rudely told me to go to the bank and have them resolve this issue. He could do nothing for me. He would not tell me the name of his company and basically hung up on me. Now what do I do?

this company allowed someone to bill something  to my credit card. if it wasn't for chase notifying me than i wouldn't have known my card # was out there.
i don't know how they got my card # and tried to resolve it. when i called the number 1-480-624-2500
i first spoke to a brian who would not give me the company's name or address. he wanted me to give him the credit card #, i told him the exact time of the transaction, the date, and the amount and he said he would still need the card number. i refused telling him that's where the problem started and wasn't going to give it to him. he said he couldn't check on the transaction(highly suspicious) then i told him give me a supervisor(blake) who i went in circles with -NOTHING RESOLVED. i asked him how they would allow someone to bill my card without proving who they were? if this is part of go daddy then it reflects badly on them. i also asked him why would i give him more information including the full credit card number if he couldn't prove to me whether he was legitimate or not- he couldn't answer that.

For those who don't want to help "dirty old man" Bob Parsons - then DON'T DEAL WITH ANY DOMAIN OR WEB COMPANY USING THIS PHONE NUMBER.

Everybody you speak with works for Godaddy.  It's a bait and switch.

Boycott Godaddy - return respect to women...

www.the-free.net aka Free Domain Registrar makes this calls to its current customers on file. It's not spam or marketing call. If you want that Free should not call you then you can opt-out through your My Account settings by logging in. Actually, this calls are useful reminders for domain renewals, hosting renewals etc. And more over their tech support guys call you to find out and help you set up your products correctly. From their press release it seems that the resellers of Free domain registrar also use the same telephone number.

Got a call from 480-624-2500 about GoDaddy "Network violations" (ie. supposed storage vs hosting issues).

This number shows up as a number of companies (shown below) but not as GoDaddy. When I called GoDaddy's number and asked GoDaddy who called me on thier behalf (carefully posing as though they were GoDaddy by speaking in carefully crafted sentences and leaving identifcation information out) they claim to know nothing about it.

Good job I opted not to give them my GoDaddy PIN or Account Details --

    Frogsplat Web Hosting - - (480) 624-2500 - , Scottsdale, AZ -
    Usavedomains.com - - (480) 624-2500 - 15111 N Hayden Rd, Ste 160-Pmbpmb-353, Scottsdale, AZ -
    Lovely Apple Web Development - - (480) 624-2500 - , Brooklyn, NY

While there *may be* a GoDaddy issue and a genuine ticket, I won't be purchasing Storage from GoDaddy as a result of the ticket these third party guys created (they are resller and affiliates of GoDaddy services) so that they can create an issue for me with GoDaddy, then  have GoDaddy issue me "stern warnings", then earn affiliate money from trying to railroad me into buying unecessary GoDaddy storage plans and then go and get a large commission from the business they have created from me and are giving to GoDaddy under a pretense.

This is how this murky "reseller and affiliate" world works......

    No thanks you dishonest scumbags.

Not necessarily GoDaddy's fault - they have some nice and competent people (like the one I spoke to when I called), but the companies around them are not so kosher....or honest. They want to take you for a ride.

    S Platzer
I'm a reseller of GoDaddy and other service providers since 2004. On our site platzermedia.com when accessed in the US the AZ number 480-624-2500 is displayed for customer support 24/7 in English and Spanish. For customers in other countries local numbers are displayed. It's very disappointing to read here about some calls received from this number. I Had no idea that sort of crap was coming from the same number I have been using for my customers. Most of my customers have been loyal for many years without any complaints except an occasional incompetent agent. If that happens I tell my clients to politely end the call and redial. Most support agents are qualified and helpful. Although it seems I'm getting more complaints now and may have to set up my own exclusive customer support numbers. Certainly I don't want our brand to be associated with any of this behavior I read about here.
