They ask for me, then hang up.

A woman named Melissa called, said she was from merchant services, and that there had been a change to our account.  We do not have an account with them.  Probably a sales call.

We also got a call from Mellisa  saying there have been changes to our merchant services.

I received the very same call, word for word. She sounded angry as if she may be a collection agent for a credit card company.  Probably trying to get my bank information to make a payment on "My credit card account". I don't have a credit card.................SORRY MELISSA!!!

I posted this elsewhere too... just getting the word out....I just got the call from Melissa too!  She said I was at risk with my merchant account.... BS!  I don't have services with them.  I hate scams...

Scammers that will use any means to hoodwink you. BEWARE!!!! Male caller actually told me to keep my mouth shut. I had to pick my jaw up off the floor after that. I sure hope he calls back. :)

I just got a call from Paul.  When he could not speak to the person he wanted, he tried the scare tactic about critical info.  When he still got no further, he tried to tell me what my job is.  I told him it isn't your place to tell me what my job is.  He said it is if I don't know that he needs to get thru to the correct party.  I said your have crossed the line into harrassment and if you call me again I will report you.  He said he will continue to call me back and I could count on it.

I had a call today from a Micheal Ray, he said the same things that everyone else has posted. I would not allow him to talk to the owner of our company, and he was not happy with that. I thought it was strange that it was a 480 number ususally they are  1-866...or some kind of 800 number. I really hope he does not call back.

Got the same call from Michael Ray and he went on and on telling me about how he was obligated to inform me of my status and HE was the one to take care of everything.  He said he was calling on "behalf" of VISA and MASTERCARD to let me know that my status has changed.  I told him that I did not obligate him to anything and I could hear the other "boiler room" voices in the background.  BEWARE!
I hung up on him. CLICK!

Smart [***].  Why is it legal for them to constantly call businesses and harass us and bother us while we are trying to deal with legitimate customers and vendors.  Caller ID said "paul" but could hear that we was in a room of other "pauls" doing the same thing to others. Hung up on him and he called back immediately with a "smart ass" comment.  They must really love their jobs.  Sit behind a phone and bully people.

Michael Ray from the listed number has called and told us that he was with Merchant Services and we had to call him back Immediately due to a change in our Mastecard services, the REAL merchant service advisor we called informed us that he wants us to download a file to our credit card machine which allows them to steal the credit card numbers and funds transmitted through our machine BEWARE of these people!!!

They call us, (we are a merchant)  demand an answer, regarding if we want or do not want to save $$$ with CC process costs......I told them I dont have to say anything, period.....They then will say it isnt about a sales call, rather it's their responsibility to give us information......Bottom line, they are pushy, aggresive....
