These guys are very nasty telemarketers from west builders supply aka atlas supply aka atlas contractors (fake, trying to mimic a real company), aka Cal Pacific Products (Who they really R).

They sell refurbed items to contractors and sell them as new. They harass people everyday, curse, make up stories, call them from their own cell phone  too. If you get calls from these guys here is the info.

The information you have provided is false.  My company orders products from this company on a regular basis.  My rep comes out to my job site and sells face to face.  He is very professional and an active member of our church.  Recently they made a huge donation to the local Habitat for Humanity.  You must be a disgruntled ex-worker, you certainly are not a customer.

I am posting this in hopes that I will save some people time and energy.  A few months ago I found an ad in the AZ Republic for a job paying $14 hour, no experience.  I called the number and went to the location and applied.  I was immediately hired for a sales job and told to come back the next day.  The job, as I quickly found out, was telemarketing supplies to construction companies.  I figured, what the heck, I'll give it a shot for $14 an hour.  A week into the job my trainer pulls me into his office and cuts my pay to $350 a week. I had heard beforehand from another employee they do that to everyone and nobody gets the $14 hr.  I told him I felt misled and he told me "if you don't like it you can quit", which I did.  It's now been three months and I still haven't gotten paid for that week.  My only hope is somebody will google the number on the ad and read this before they get scammed like I did.

Neither should you.  File a complaint with the AZ Department of Labor.

This crazy "telemarketer" has been calling me for 5 years about once a month. He called again today, i asked him to stop calling, and he began useing alot of "crude language" i wont repeat. I hung up and he called back several times with more of the same. Please someone who knows more information about him call the AZ authorities so he will have to answer for all of his harrassment and verbal abuse. I personally will never answer another call coming through the caller id as "unknown" and i have blocked "480-839-6249". The local Arizona police are aware of this criminal...please call and give them the info they need to bust him. or call the real Atlas Contracting in Arizona mention telemarketing harrassment and the manager would be happy to help you bust them.

Report them to the Better Business Bureau and the Federal Trade Commission

Have received similar obscene and threatening phone calls from this business.  Harrassing telephone calls are illegal.  Here is the proper procedure to deal with this unethical person (s) if you have received a threatening or obscene telephone call from them.

1.  Make a police report in the jurisdiction where you received the call.  The crime occurs where the call is received. When you explain the situation to your local police or sheriff's department, they will be happy to comply.
2.  Send a copy of the report to the Tempe Arizona Police Department.  They already have a huge file on these businesses.  Please reference all AKA's - Western Builder Supply, Atlas Contractor Supply, etc. that are shown on this site.  
3.  Send a copy of the report to the Arizona Attorney General's Office at 1275 W. Washington, Phoenix, AZ  85007.
4.  File a complaint with the Tempe AZ Better Business Bureau - you may do this online.

The Arizona Attorney General will put these people out of business.  These unethical people bank on the fact that the crime occurs at the receiving end of the call, and you won't take the time or trouble to report it.  They have received complaints from all over the country.

We have recieved rude, relentless phones calls from this company.  Richard must be doing business with a completely different company who may actually be legitimate.

"california business owner" #1 is absolutely correct. I was able to stop them for a few years this back in 2005. Recently I moved my shop across city lines and aparently I'm on a new list.  I'll stop them again the same way. I just got off with my local police department.
What's most upsetting to me is I having to tie up my local police dept and Tempe AZ for this sort of thing.  Why can't these guys be shut down?  Would save a lot of tax dollars I would think.  Earlier today I received another call from "Atlas Supply" I explained nicely that I'l have to make a police report unless they can remove me from the system. The said they would and thought I had hung up. The rep stayed on the line and a supervisor started coaching him not trealizing that I was stil on the line listening. The rep actually tried to honor my request and told the boss " Why don't we just stop calling this guy" The boss said " This guys is pissed now but he'll turn around"  It told him I'm still here and you should have heard what came out of his mouth!  They'll get the Police Report soon. Hopefully the police will get as sick of this as we are and end it.

I buy from these guys every month on an open billing. They extend credit to businesses which need it in these times. I have always been happy and treated well. I will continue to buy.

I get calls from these guys too (cursing, threatening to rape, kill).  I have called Tempe police and they wouldn't do anything.  So I have called the FBI since it has to do with threats and crosses state lines.  Hopefully someone will stop them.  Good luck.

I have received terrible calls from "Atlas Contractors", including lies and crude remarks. No legitimate business does this. Nor do they claim to have done business with you, when they in fact have not! I called the REAL Atlas Contractors in Nevada, who have received MANY complaints. Report these calls to the FCC, the FTC and the Atty General in AZ. They operate out of Tempe, AZ.

I just got a call from a guy said his name was John Moss from Atlas Contracting frm a blocked number. I asked him what the call was regarding and he said "Business" ..... B$#%ch! I said oh ok please hold so I can transfer call to my husband and figure out who he was and then he said "anything for you b&%tch" then he hung up! What a coward! i am researching now so i can find him and that company!

You are absolutely correct Richard. Everyone else here must be out to get poor Atlas. All of them are lying because we have nothing better to do but pick on some well-meaning business who is a pillar of society.
They have made representations about the quality of equipment I purchased as well, but I am sure it was a mistake. I am also certain that their salesmen don't continue to call me even though I have asked over and over that they cease.
