Received a text message from a "Mrs Chistine Moore from TRC Group Pty Ltd." telling me my resume has been reviewed and they want to set up a interview. Who asks for an interview over text message?

No one, it is a new scam.   The company is in Australia and I am guessing they will ask for money for "visas", etc.

Hi, it is a scam.  I work for TRC Group in Australia and this scam has nothing to do with us.  Sorry for any inconvenience it is causing anyone.  No idea why they have picked TRC.  Please do not give them any information or reply to them.  I think they have hacked several job sites in the US and are posing as an Australian company because of the time difference.

I also got a text from (919) 769-1704 which is in Bear Creek, NC from a Sir Frank Williams who is a real person but is not associated with the TRC Group Party. I sent them a text back saying that they are a terrible person for trying to take advantage of people.

the same thing happened to me except they actually sent me through a job interview, said i had a job as a book keeper, saying that i would get $35.95/hr in a 40 hr work week, along with a week of paid training. I was told i had to buy a computer and a file cabinet, a printer, adobe Photoshop, and Peach tree software. in order to work for them. They said i could send them the money via western union. ($950!!) Luckily my family was wise and helped me look up stuff on them. (and the western union bit was a dead giveaway.) I told them i did not have enough money to pay for the required amount, they then asked me how much of it could i pay, I said none and they said "stand by"  and didn't say anymore after that. This scam frustrated me to no end.

They tried it with a company called Access as well. When I first got an email, I was thinking ok, so a Skype interview? I've heard of them before. Then, they tried doing it over yahoo Instant messenger. Got out of there as fast as i could! They found my resume on a veterans website through the chamber of commerce. I will be making a complaint and demanding an investigation as to who sold my information.

They didn't say I had to pay anything. They said they would send me the money. It sounded like money laundering with the way they were describing it.

I am a veteran as well and I received a text saying "Good Day I'm Mrs Christina Moore from TRC Group Pty Ltd. Your resume have been reviewed and posted to our head dpt for the next step." I figured it was a scam considering I was contacted by text, but I continued to ask for info about jobs and how to contact them. Here is what I got, "The position available are. Data Entry, Clerical Admin, Administrative Assistant, Customer Service, Accounting, payroll Clerk, Book keeping, Management, Dispatcher, Front Desk Clerk position, Project Development.

Which of the above position is your field of speciality?" As the conversation progressed she kept asking me to get online, I told her I was unavailable at the time but if she gave me contact info I would get back to her. "Whenever you are free do add recruitdesk119@yahoo.com for your interview.. Okay ?" Was the response I received.

Not sure how they got my info, but this is a little unsettling.

Oh my goodness! I thought this was real. I got so excited. All of these stories are exactly what happened to me. I pray that they don't scam anymore people.

I received the same text and i blew them off, because no one interviews through text. Then I received an email from the company BCG for a job. We talked through yahoo messenger. There name being recruitdesk119. They actually sent me a check and everything, but the envelope said AK steel holding, which is not the original name of the company they said. CLEARLY FRAUD!!!

Your resume has been reviewed by our HR Department which you posted on www.hireourheroes.com and we believe you are capable of handling any of this positions we have available, Data Entry, Clerical Admin, Administrative Assistant, Customer Service, Accounting, payroll Clerk, Book keeping, Dispatcher, Front Desk Clerk position, Project Development positions based on your resume. Well I'm an idiot. I have them my personal info, should I be worried? Name address phone number and age is what they asked for..

One important thing to remember if these losers have any of your personal information such as your social security number, date of birth or drivers license make sure you register with identity protection notify the credit agencies as well as your banks!!
