Caller claims to be a lawyer re some check that I don't know what he was talk trying to get me to pay $1200

I've gotten a call from this number a few times.
They claim that it's Victoria London, a check fraud investigator calling for Marcel Robertson or something.

Apparently, a bad check was made out and was linked to my social security # and driver's license. They ask that I call 888 550 3088 and they give me a "reference socket number" as 173941.

WTF.

So annoying. They did this last time. I'm on the National Do Not Call list.
I'm going to call my cell phone carrier and tell them about this.

For people who get a call from this number, please do not pick up, and definitely do not call the number that they give you to call.

It's a scam. I have no idea who it is, but whoever it is must be a total loser & a [***].

Bah! This [***] company called me again! The same [***] left on the answering machine! They called my place of business! I hope this company gets caught and whoever is responsible goes to jail or gets a massive fine!

They called me and said there were a law firm. The person stated that if I did not pay off A debt that I have no idea what it is that I would recieve either jail time or have my garnishes waged. They wouldnt give me their name or addess of business.

ive got the same person calling here same # but different docket #, so far shes called twice with different name on the caller id, ive had to have my # changed but some how they still get it.

Yeah, i just got the same call, so i googled what they said and it brought me here. i knew it was a scam...but i wanted  to check  first....Bast*rds...lol

Has anyone ever gotten fraudulent check calls where they have actual names of members of your family?
