i did not answer, they did not leave a message

Local number for my area, so I answered the call. Wrong move.  It was an automated message informing me that my Google business profile is only 50% complete and to press "1" to complete it, or press "2" or "1" to be removed form the list.  It's definitely not Google calling...hung up without pressing any digits and blocked number.

Google (legitimate Google) should really care about these spoofer spammer scammers, lots of folks do think it is a Google sponsored call. Google has enough money to bury these guys. I wonder why they don't, because these have been going on for a good while and seem to be proliferating even. At the very least, they could publish a notice of real facts to distance themselves and undermine the legitimacy of these spoofers. Wouldn't any legit business want to protect its brand from fakers?

Received a call from this number on Friday. No message.

I also got a call from this company.
It wasn't enough that I said I already had an SEO company, and the salesman directed me to My Listing with Google.
When I started to decline, in a nice way, He Berated Me as " someone who should sit back and listen to the expert, and if I were His Father or a friend sitting in the Bar He would talk to me directly in this manner"
He then told me He was the surgeon and My SEO was the blemish, I should let Him do the work..... etc etc.
 Its a shame, I can't answer my phone, at work, politely decline a sales offer, without being told off, and put down, in such a argumentative way.  Next time they call I will get their name, and I will post it. I agree with one of the above comments, The real Google should Police these Harassments, and If they are in business with these types then that also is shameful and should stop.

This is a business and I don't have time to waste on answering calls that no one is their.Called it back and got no ring tone just a busy signal. Not sure how this helps me stop them from calling as their is no where to put in the number they keep calling. But I continue to try. Ugh!

Many calls from this company.  Spoke with google spoofer and asked to be removed before listening to his speal.  Obviously ignored.  Now, today, two calls in the last hour; call back - the number is not in service.  What?
484.325.5998 appears in my records as unavailable but they are definitely calling me.  How exactly does one do that as it has happened before with others as well?  CROOKS!!!!  Stop bothering me.

i THINK THEY ARE CALLING ME FROM DIFFERENT NOS. BECAUSE I'M GETTING THESE SCAM CALLS EVERYDAY. I'M BLOCKING THEM. YOU SHOULD TOO.. DOUBT IF THEY ARE REALLY FROM GOOGLE BECAUSE I DON'T THINK THEY WOULD ACT UNPROFESSIONAL IF THEY WERE ACTUALLY REPRESENTING GOOGLE.

I think I figured it out! It's that real estate thing!!!!! That show/infomercial that shows you how to flip houses! That's the only thing I registered to go online here and they must be making money selling the info. CREEPS!

Got a call in toronto picked up...no responce a call got disconnected

I just answer, "Homicide Desk, O'Reilly speaking". I don't know if it keeps them from calling back but it makes me giggle. 😜😂

On good-Friday April 3, 2015 I got a call from this number, but I did not answer. They didn't leave a message. WEIRD! I guess it is a call from Mars some aliens trying to communicate with earthling.

It was probably a robot then, don't call them back and block the number if they keep calling. I get calls like that all the time.

rec'd call from this number - phone only rang twice then hung up. Called back, was given a recording that said if I wanted to be placed on a DO NOT CALL list press '1' ....hung up without pressing any keys as I don't even know who it is that's callind. I also get multiple calls a day from diff numbers......since I have several active job apps I have to answer unknown numbers or risk missing something important.
