Why he call me and sending voicemail.....?

Some fake bs. Called saying some crap about my warranty on my vehicle expired. Completely false. They are fishing for information.

Spam caller looking to sell junk. These companies need to be euthanized.

Got call but did not answer.  Did not leave message.

Called, didn't answer. Left voicemail, but was just dead air for 13 seconds.

Yep, this was a robo-voice, calling randomly in complete violation of the National Do-Not-Call Registry, telling me that the warranty on my vehicle had expired. Since I don't even HAVE an auto warranty, and especially since I don't like NDNCR violators, I decided to have some fun. I agreed that I needed a warranty for the fictional vehicle I gave the robot (a 2014 Nissan something...) and was transferred to an live agent. I listened to her spiel, adding an occasional agreement sound and giving more bogus info when asked. Turns out the Warranty is $350 (in advance) for the first 30 days, then $157 for the next 21 months (lets see, that is $3,647 - WHEW...!). Anyway, after about 13 minutes I told her I had just wasted a bunch of her time because her company is using a Sales Aggregator (she called it an avatar) that is operating illegally in violation of the NDNCR. Oh, BTW, the company's name is "Secure Car Care" - I couldn't even find a website, so assume they are a scam (that first $350 that they want to collect over the phone with a CC, if nothing else). The only thing these folks are going to understand is a waste of their time and resources, so PICK UP and HAVE SOME FUN!!!

missed call from this number, i called it back. didnt ring but an auto answer pickup and said "good bye" and that was it..

Thank you PTD, I often do the same when I have time. This time I didn't, but there's ALWAYS a next time! Thanks from all who hate the NDNCR violators, whether scammers or semi-legit (cant be totally legit or they wouldn't be violating).

Received several hang ups. Finally bought a call blocker. Best investment. Have blocked 34 #s so far!

Answered and I did not say anything and the phone hung up within a minute.  I called the number back and auto answer pickup and said "good bye"...  Get this phone calls several times a month and either it's a busy signal?

Telemarketer touting a vehicle extended warranty scam. Female computer generated voice. CID showed "OUT OF AREA".

Called while I was out but left no message.  Based on previous posts, a robocall phishing scam.

This is about renewing your expired warranty on your vehicle or extending one. Pleasant when I called them back. Just irritating when you're on a National do not call registry.
