Another Medic-alert scam - Robocaller starts into the spiel immediately on answering the call. I added it to my call blocker.

Asked to be removed from the list, they hang up on you...get several calls a day from this damn company.  Today I asked to speak with the supervisor, the guy changed his voice twice, thinking I'd fall for it.  I'm going after these guys, this is is crazy.

This "medical alert" company calls me daily, at least once, often twice or more.  They offer the option of "press the 5 key now to be removed from our calling list".  I cannot tell you how many times I have pressed that 5 key.  If there is anything anyone can do, please, do it!  This feels like a complete scam, I am not interested in what they are selling even if it is legitimate.  I am so tired of these phone calls, it's "phone spam" and I've had enough.

The rule of the game to fight back against telemarketers, as repeated here at 800 notes, is: DO NOT press any buttons! Hang up immediately. If you press the button, they know they have a live number, and you probably will get MORE unwanted marketing calls than you imagine! AND, do make checking Caller ID a priority! Good luck!

Why ANYONE would answer a phone call from a number YOU DO NOT RECOGNIZE is beyond my understanding. If it's someone who knows you, they will leave a message. Otherwise DON'T ANSWER! Its as simple as that.

Continue to get calls even after I asked to be removed what is point of do not call list?

Get repeated calls from this company despite hitting the #5 requesting to be removed from their list.  Why should I have to request to be removed from any list?  I do not appreciate being harassed.  

i have received repeat calls from them and have followed instructions to remove my number but they continue to call. s this time i awaited assistance from there operator. a man answered identified himself as Jonathan. I asked why even though i repeated requested removal from list do i continue to get calls. he did not know i asked for a supervisor he put call on hold for a moment then hung up on me. i called back and got recording to dial 1 to be removed

Hi folks, I am at home raising our 9 month old and these parasites always seem to call when she has just  gone down for a nap, so in order to not let the phone wake her, I have to pick it up. When I can, I always press 1 to speak to a representative then I ask them how it feels to be a scamming c.....? Then I hang up and add the number to my call forwarding list (knowing that they call back from this number a few times before switching it up), which I have set up to forward all listed numbers to the FCCs hotline. If we all do this, the FCC will be so jammed up with these prank calls, they will be forced to do something. Maybe we could set it up with the FBIs hotline number for greater effect?

Lowlife nasty scum, that calls through an array of spoofed numbers.  Impossible to block these jerks, and they obviously are making millions of calls daily.

I am actually working at a business and get the phone call on the business number. So it isn't that simple...

They called at 9:32am.  We have the entire 484 area code blocked!  Our phones DO NOT ring when these criminals call.
YES - these criminals can and do change phone numbers but if you block an entire area code, you block every phone number in that area code - 6,000,000 to 8,000,000 phone numbers!  
Have friends or family in the 484 area code?  No problem you can add or "invite" their phone numbers.  Problem solved.
We now have over 130 area codes blocked along with at least 150 full numbers blocked.
Folks, save your sanity - you must purchase a call blocking phone or a blocking device that will block ENTIRE AREA CODES and full numbers!
