From Pennsylvania, they asked me to participate in a survey about the news media in BC and Canada. I pressed 1 to continue the game in English, (I also heard something in Chinese). I let then the call running til they hanged out. 2 minutes duration and they have to pay for that.

I don't answer these calls out of my area code

Just got a call from them, didn't answer. If they're actually calling for a survey about BC media, why call from Pennsylvania?

I got a call from them also... the usual automated crap and if you go along with it at the end your phone number is given out to numerous other marketing groups.

They called my cell earlier today and now they called my wife's cell.
Did not answer either as did not recognize it.
To bad we cannot ban the number like we do on our regular phone.

I keep a mini battery-operated, high pitch burglar alarm siren nearby - (it's about half the size of a C-Cell battery) Once I've determined the caller is a Scumbag, I answer, wait for them to speak - then blast the siren into the ear-piece. I never get return calls, and I'm guessing they can't hear out of that ear for a while. ( good Sports referee whistle works too, but not quite as effective)
