Received a cryptic text with my name but no other comment is I think this is a scam to lure me into replying and asking who it is.  Not going to fall for that.  If it's a legitimate text, the person would have provided more information.

Same happened to me.  Thanks for starting this thread.  I'm not sure how they are getting my name.  Here is the message:

Someone has texted me twice from this number who knew my name. They asked that I add them on y.a.h.0.0. msngr with their ID being kaylagirl312. I have had all of my email and social network accounts blocked for years from anyone that I don't know being able to see. I asked how they got my phone #, and they said "sorry, bad reception". I asked again, both times that they texted me, and they stopped texting.

Texts came on: 12/25 and 01/01
