Wells Fargo keeps calling my cell phone. I get up to 10 calls a day from them!

My statement says due on Oct 10th.  Sum of 272.00.  No past due balance.  They have been calling like crazy the past week swearing I still owe $72 on last months payment.  I wish they would stop calling.  I am not behind and thinking of refinancing with someone else

Just got this call from Wells Fargo asking for a "Patricia". I just got this number a few weeks ago, and we've had a few calls for this person already.
The rep on the phone was pleasant when I told her that I was not the right person/number and she apologized.

Well I got another call from this place.. again for a Patricia and again I told them this is a new phone number and this person must have had the number before me. My guess is I will get another call.

I receive calls regularly, daily from them. I have had 3 calls in the last 20 minutes.  I finally picked up the 3rd time, said hello, and they responded, "sorry, wrong number!"

Somebody claiming they are from Wells Fargo Financial called me at my work phone asking for Robert something.  I said nobody here is with that name and this is my work company.

You have the right to not answer your phone...let 'er ring...for them, an answered phone is all they want...don't even let it go to your voice mail...it's a computer calling anyways...and just think how nice it is to know that someone thinks enough of you to call every day...why ruin it by answering?

I have been getting calls from a 800 number. Its wells fargo they ask for a lady I have told them this is my phone and has been for years. They took my info and said it would stop. Well that was a week ago and I'm still getting them. Now I'm getting calls from 484 number now. Who do I need to talk to for stopping this .

So, I have been getting calls all day from the 800 number, then tonight (like the 6th call since 8am) it's from the 484 number. They have their money and are still calling. Can't wait to refinance

I have been called by this number as well. Here is what you can do!..Write a "Cease and Desist notice" (examples are on google) and fax it to the HQ for Wells Fargo (703) 803-4055 (FAX), (703) 904-1326 (FAX). Once you fax this notice they are legally required to remove your number from the database. It appears that they make MANY MISTAKES in calling people that have nothing to do with them. Also, try to get the name of the person calling and inform them that you have documented the call, the person making the call, and the time and date of the call. If they continue to call, you can make a FTC Complaint and have LARGE FINES IMPOSED on them for violation of Federal Law http://www.ftc.gov/ftc/cmplanding.shtm There is a way to stop this. I have had the same cell phone number for years.  I have received 4 phone calls in last 2 days asking for someone with a spanish sounding name starting with an A.  I am a day sleeper and they keep waking me up with their calls.  I do not have an account at all with these people who claim to be Wells Fargo Auto Finance.  I have been promised twice in the last two days that their calls will cease.  If they do call one more time I will do as suggested by the responder above and file a complaint.

They called me and left a voicemail.  She said she was calling from Wells Fargo, and said something about wanting to help me with "this", and maybe setting up a payment plan.  She left the number 1-800-565-0094 and her extension.  I have no account with them, never have.  I don't even have a car payment at all.  I called her back (the computer system said it was "Wells Fargo Auto Finance") and told her this, and she apologized and said it must have been somebody else she was supposed to call.  I hope so, because I'm not going to be happy if she starts pestering me.

Missed a call from 484-895-2000.  When I called back, the recording said it was Wells Fargo Auto Finance?
I don't have an account with them, never have.  Starting to smell a little phishy.  Hope they call back so I can get some answers.

They need to be stopped for harrasing people about fictitous loans.

This number is for Wells Fargo Financial Missouri, Inc. - their address is 1015 Club Avenue, Ste. 1015A, Bethlehem, PA 18018 - their fax number is 484-895-2030.
Just telling them NOT to call you when they call doesn't cover you according to the letter of the law (I mean, if you said it on the phone - did the conversation REALLY take place?). You have to put the request on paper, mail it to their address certified mail, return receipt requested (it costs $4.12)- and keep copies of everything you send them.
THEN, if they continue to call when you told them not to or if they continue to call you at work when you told them not to or if you told them specifically only to call during certain hours and they continue to call outside those hours - you can sue them for $1,000 PER OCCURANCE.
BUT,and this is super important; you have to keep accurate call logs of any calls, any person who leaves their name, any messages left, who you might have talked to...and don't just let it go on to incur the fines. Give them one week after they received your first letter and if they keep calling, send them another letter certified mail and give them one more week but up the ante and tell them you will file a complaint with an lawyer (or you can do it yourself, if you're confident enough). Give them a few days after they receive the second letter and if they persist - then contact an attorney or draft a small claims complaint (or sometimes, because they are REALLY dumb about FDCPA law, or just hopeful you are - your complaint may be higher in your state than small claims can file, you need to file complaint in circuit court).
If you have any doubts about doing this yourself, get help - an attorney is preferable. And keep meticulous notes and records - every scrap of information is helpful.

Wells fargo is the number one cry baby bank there is. they call  my cellphone and leave rude messages, and call  my work and are harrasers. this one guy Ryan at extension 28680 1-800-565-0094 needs to take some customer service classes.

Second call today from Wells Fargo for someone my cell isn't assigned to and hasn't been for four years. What do we do about these unwanted calls?
