They called, but left no VM

got a call from this number left no message when I called back got busy signal

They called and didn't leave a message. No idea who it is.

Left no message. When I called the number back I got a recording saying the number is disconnected.

kept receiving calls from this number when I call back got wrong number.

They need to stop calling me I'm sick of iy

They say that are from a lawyers office and I have an outstanding medical bill that I didn't pay $30 seven years ago. Third call and I keep telling them I know they are fraudulent and they are not getting any information or a dime from me. Yet they keep calling.

Did you know it is illegal to claim to be an attorney (or law officer) if they are not one?  Demand written proof - mailed - to you.  I doubt you will get anything but excuses from them.

More than likely that debt is past the Statute of limitations so they cannot sue you.   Now read this:
Federal law (FDCPA) requires them to send you a letter within 5 days of their first contact that contains their name, physical address, the creditor’s name, and the amount of the alleged debt.  It also must contains “mini-miranda” telling you that it is an attempt to collect a debt and that all information will be used for those purposes.  The one other important thing that this letter must also have in it is that you have a right to dispute the debt within 30 days of the date of the letter and if you do so, all collection activity must be stopped until the debt is verified.
