Me too. She started to say something about a phone book and I said "no thank you"

I had been receiving calls from "Shell Vacations" for a long time, and finally those stopped.  Now I am starting to receive phone calls several times a week from this phone number, 501-475-5218.  It's very annoying.  They say they want to verify service, but never say what the service is for.  These kinds of calls should be made illegal.

I've had my phone number for two days and got 2 messages from them today. wtf?

Got one around 8:30 pm which is too late for any phone call unless it's a personal call.  I didn't answer and they also left message "want to verify service".  Yeah - sure

I believe this to be Comcast, verifying new phone service.  Does anyone else here have VOIP phone service from comcast?  I got the voip phone line as part of a comcast package deal, so I have never used the line, nor given it out to anyone. So, it's either remnant calls meant for the previous phone number owner... or its Comcast trying to verify that my phone was set up correctly and works....

I don't have Comcast, but I get a call almost every day from this number.  I just turned on my phone service last week.  I finally answered the phone and no one responded. I put myself on the do not call list and I requested an unlisted number.  Why then am I getting calls???!!!!

I get on average 12 calls a days from this #, I don't have comcast, I have att.  I got so disgusted that I finally blocked the # and no more calls

I too have been getting calls from this # daily. Like some of you i answer but no responds. It is annoying and it needs to stop.

Just got a call from this number too.   Caller ID says it's from Little Rock AR

didnt' answer it and it left a voice message about calling back later.   voice was a womans recording and it sounded like it was slow and on drugs...  spaced out.  

We have only had our number for about 2 weeks now.  

I've been getting calls like this from another weird number as well.   I believe they are scammy type telemarketer numbers.

this number keeps calling,(501-476-5218), saying they want to verify service, I haven't ordered anything. When I call back I get a recording saying thank you for calling customer service to be remove from the calling list then to key in your phone number. It does not give the name of a business. I did not enter my number. However, I did some research and came up with a company called YMAX Comm's Corp.AR out of Arkansas. Checking with the BBB to find out who they are and what they are......

ok so I did a little more research......this number is connected to Magicjack phones...their customer service number for billing inquiries is 281-404-1551 hours of operation :11am to 8pm EST....it's the only phone number I could find that you may be able to talk to a human.....maybe if everyone getting these annoying phone calls, places a call to this company it will stop.......

Automated Spoof Caller Does Not allow me to Contact them??? Calls Don't let me Call them Back should be a Legit Company that I can Call Are You Legit??? I don't Think So...Leave A Message Next Time so people can Call.....

Crack Callers dont leave a Message when Call back they have No one But a Recorded Message. about taking me off there list. Im not on anyones list they automated Robo Callers Calling me. Stop Callingg Me
