I received a call from 501-523-0897.  the number is very close to one of my friends numbers, so I answered the call.  The person on the other end asked for me so I asked who he was.  I could not understand the name.  He did tell me twice, but I could not understand either time.   He told me that he was from AR Benefits and that he was going to ship my diabetic supplies and asked me to verify my address.  I asked how he got my name if the doctor sent it in, he said no that it was AR Benefits wanting to maximize my benefits.  He insisted that he was told to send me my supplies.  I stated that I was not comfortable speaking to him and if he really was from AR Benefits he could email me the information.  The email that he asked me to verify is not my email address at all.  I advised him that if he was from AR Benefits he would have the correct email and hung up.

foreigner could not even pronounce my name so I hung up this is not the first time this # has come up.

recieved a call from a foreigner she wanted to sell me some pain cream and bill my insurance she had my name and even where i lived then she asked for my social seCURITY number then i knew they were trying to scam me  .

I received a card from a foreign female and asked if she could talk to (and she could barely say my name) and I just told her no and please do not call my cell phone again.  I just wish the DO NOT CALL list worked but I have serious doubts.

called today,,but I answered and nobody said anything,,

I have received call also from Rhode Island, Texas, Pennsylvania, Arkansas, etc... continually for about 3 days.  One from Washington also.  One call was about disability something which I never applied for or asked about.  I couldn't get a word in edge-wise.

Rec'd cll from this number going to ship me diabetic supplies...talked real fast then screamed in phone

This number keeps calling my phone I never answer and when I call it back it just said to try again later...

A Mexican man called me twice claiming he was with a branch of dhs n my doctor gave him mh number he said dhs was starting a new program for people with chronic pain .ask information said id be receiving package in two weeks.

Scammers publishers

scammers trying to get credit card numbers, they said they are publishers but not publishers clearing house, reported to ftc do not call list and the attorney generals office

keep constantly calling my phone i had to download a phone blocker app just so they wont bug me every 10 min. gets ridicoulous

Got a call and no answer

I do the same thing and get the same reply!

Try not answering unknown calls and do not call them back. If you continue to answer they will continue to call.
Insanity is doing the same thing over and over, expecting different results.

Called twice but when I answered, there was no one there

This is the same exact thing that happened to me , it said it was a Verizon wireless number .

Got a call from this number , tried to call it back and it said it was Verizon wireless and that the subscriber was unavailable. Probably a scam any way or telemarketer for sure.
