Didn't leave a message.  Gets through "Privacy Manager," which blocks most annoyance calls.  Has called repeatedly over several days.  Probably collections.

this number was on our phone system with a listing of "Public Safety" which we did not answer. they called without leaving a message on 6/26, twice on 6/27, 6/28

This same phone number and name has shown on my caller id twice now and i dont know who they are or what they want. I was not home when they called and I dont have an answering machine.

I want these calls to stop!!

I finally answered this call.  It is a fund raiser for "Breast Cancer Survivors" Program.  I asked her were they based in Arkansas but she said it was "Nationwide" and that she was calling from Nashville, Tennessee.

glad to see i am not the only one. they have called me ever day 2 to 4 times a day every day for the past 2 weeks. i dont answer either

I would like repeated calls from this number to stop -- now -- today.

I am SO glad I have a digitone call blocker.,  I just got my first call from this number at 10:30p at nite, we'll stop that right now!

Just got call from this number.  I answered, but noone there.

Called mine at 4 pm today.  I did not answer.  Reporting to my state atty general

I got a call from this number also today about 1:30pm on mu caller id. Says it is from Public Safety. Did not answer either

I have a sick person in home, the person want be quiet, the noise made the sick person headachs. Also my home phone its "UNDER DO NOT CALL LIST". Please help me stopping all the HARRASING and ANNOYING calls . Thank you

No one else reading this page can ''help stopping'' anything on your behalf. Your caller is not going to dutifully study random forum complaints and cannot magically determine which numbers should not be called based on anonymous comments.

If it's still a charity caller as reported prior, DNC registration isn't helping. The DNC registry is for telemarketers, meaning sales. The following URL links to the FTC FAQ page which the DNC site *twice* coaxed you to read before you registered your numbers. See items 28 through 32 in particular.

However, much of the charity phone bank work is farmed out to so-called "commercial fundraisers" such as Associated Community Services, Dial America, Harris, InfoCision, MDS, and TeleFund. Commercial fundraisers don't quite get the same blanket exemption. Here is the holy writ of FTC: ''... if a third-party telemarketer is calling on behalf of a charity, a consumer may ask not to receive any more calls from, or on behalf of, that specific charity. If a third-party telemarketer calls again on behalf of that charity, the telemarketer may be subject to a fine of up to $16,000.''

They called again at  MARCH 11th, 2:28PM...Told HIM do not call this number ever...HE hung up on me.  HE was looking for money for Brest cancer .    They called yesterday .MARCH 10th.

Public Safety on the caller ID,

No message, or no answer when we accidently answer the phone, when expecting a call and have do deal with this criminal rude caller.

I got the call at 9:30 am today.  
Caller ID is PUBLIC SAFETY.        It is despicable they use this ID which is the Highway Patrol where I live.    Just a ploy to make to you think it is an urgent call.
I did not answer, they left no message.
 
It is probably some bogus charity or identity theft scam we occasionally hear about on the local news.

Said This is ..?... from Breast Cancer Research.  I hung up.
