This is the second time in two days that I received a call from this number and I don't know why

Workers compensation representative to discuss work injury and what would happen next.

"David" phoned me this am regarding a claim of personal injury and damages that my brother suffered at the FAMILY DOLLAR STORE on 22nd Ave. & 61st, Kenosha, WI on Jan. 15. 2013. The store manager, Justin, gave my brother claim no. 301301359260001 and a phone no. to follow up. He has been given a run around and I am attempting to help him resolve this claim, but I see that FAMILY DOLLAR STORES, Inc has a number of games they play to avoid their responsibilities. This phone call seems to come from Sedgwick Claims Administration of Little Rock, AR as I dialed star 69 to obtain the number 501-859-8287

Is this call a  Collection call?

Call came from Sedwick, which handles insurance claims for other companies. Things like workers comp.

Sedgwick is a Third Paty Adminstrator which handles claim for large corporations. Claims handled which includes but is not limited to Worker's Compensation, Premises liability and Commercial Auto and Property to name a few.

I received a call from this number stating they were a claims service calling regarding an accident my daughter had on Brookshires property.

You should remove the claim number from your post, that's private info that no one but you, your medical providers, insurance carrier, and/or lawyers should have...

I received a call from 501-859-8287 they called and hung up when I answered. I called back and it says the number is disconnected. Annoying!!

No, they are a private workers comp company. If they are calling you it's probably for a work related injury??

This number is Sedgewick Claims a third party administrator for self insured companies.

actually its not a crank call... most companies have moved to using sedgwick as a middle person in handling their claims.  I have to call sedgwick when i have a sick child, its to help with paperwork = hope things go well for you

it is the "dollar tree" customer service responding to a customer response or complaint about their shopping experience. it is a third party for the company.

They didn't leave a message, so it must not be important

"tony" from sedgwick calling back on a truck claim...Very small claim.  Only answered the phone one time when i called back...Said she would overnight my check and she did not keep her word...Put the check in the mail after it was already close to one month being processed and delayed because of her insistence on more documentation.  Referred me to her "boss" neil russsell who told me "now you are making me mad"...Ha!..He is a supervisor?.  Really?...He did not even know anything about the claim.   He was clueless. The "supervisor" hung up on me, the customer.. I did not curse at this man. I wanted help...Terrible customer service.  I will never consider doing business with them directly again..
