Got a call this AM. Computer asked for me and instructed me to hit 1 if I was me. Then recorded voice asked me to hold then after less than a minute the call terminated.

I just got one too. Quite certain it's a debt collector.

Convergence Out Sourcing is the name of the place.  Didn't stay online long enough to get a live person b/c I don't know what they are exactly.  It's probably a bill collector.  Don't know.  But that's the name of it.

Have only received 3 calls from this number so far in the last week but they're similar to other so called "collection agencies" in that when you answer the phone, you're greeted with an automated recording asking for someone who they think lives in the home. The first day they asked for a person named Trevor, the 2nd time they called for someone named Sylvia and today they called for someone named Kelley so it's seems to be that they are just phishing for someone linked with my number. Also, the automated recording was a woman with an English (or maybe Australian) accent. Very strange. Be very weary of these kinds of calls and do your research before talking to anyone and giving out personal info. The automated call gave me the option to hold for an actual person but I didn't since they're usually pretty good at weaseling your real name and info out of you so I figured I'd report the number here for others and hope someone else can give more info about this than I am able too.

I have had a new cell number for about 40 days and I have received 5 calls from this number. I have not answered and my best guess is this is a robo dialer.

This is a collection agency called    "Convergent" located in Houston, TX
and it did hang up once connected..
I called back to them, and did get a person on the phone.

thing is, this bill was paid already last year!!!

They call my work phone several times a day.  I never answer and they never leave a message.  They just like to annoy me.

Answering machine picked up, asked it this was?, hung up.  Called number back and received a recording to stay on the line...Who is this?!?!?!

Missed call. Called number back and she said they are Convergent Out Sourcing for Pay Pal Bill Me Later. She wouldn't give me any more info unless I gave her last 4 of my SSN,  DOB,  and address. I told her I wasn't giving that info unless I knew more about why she was calling. She said she couldn't discuss with me unless I "verified" that info. I told her I'm not curious enough to give my info and said goodbye. I haven't had a PayPal account in 10 years and I certainly Don't owe PayPal anything.......somethinh is fishy.....

I also had a call and the guy would not tell me the reason for his call and was referring to a name I used over 25 years ago and to which that husband is deceased.   He then asked for the last 4 of my SS# "to verify" to which I said no.  No one gets my info over a random phone call much less a call I did not initiate.  I hung up on him.  I have no outstanding debts so I am assuming this is a scam company.   Beware!

As soon as I got a landline this place started calling everyday 2 to 3 times a day. I’ve blocked them, but how they keep calling from different numbers. I’m sick of them calling .

Got a text frome this number. Called it told them id serverly hurt them. Im not stupid. Dont try to scam me
