I looked up a quote online with Humana last week. I did not type in my address or phone number name. The only info required was State or zip code, age, gender. to receive quote. I did not give them my email address either. This morning got call from someone at this number. They asked to speak to the person whose name my home phone # is listed under. Not my name which tells me they somehow tracked me online although I gave them no personally identifiable info. How the heck did they trace my computer, which is DSL from AT&T, and get my number and the name of the person the phone is listed under.

Check where else you posted, entered, had a chat, exchanged emails, text conversation, web sites visited, forums you may belong to and opinions you may have left online not in the best insterests to this numbers owner(s)....anyone can be traced....you have no idea how much information can be sourced from your IP address....basically something you did online that was of interest to the institution or agency this number belongs to and may I say government agency...carefully...even just by entering the "validation code" below....why do you think it's there....they know where to look you up.  Sorry if this sounds unreal, but we have Bush to thank for this.

I have received 3 call on cell - that I did not answer.  I texted them asking who they are.  I have Humana.

I have been staying with my mother for the past two days and they have been calling my mother these past two days over three times a day from 8am as late as 7pm. They will not leave a message. What do they want?

Yes, I believe this number does belong to Humana's main office in Kentucky.  Just received a message (but no one spoke).  Strange.... as I've always felt Humana was a pretty reputable company. I plan on calling them myself.

I have been receiving phone calls at work from this number for a month! They call 2 or 3 times a day and never leave a message.

I am tired of getting these calls. I finally just blocked them.

I picked up the phone this morning when they called. Said they were Humana, wanting me to know about some dental insurance plan of theirs. I firmly told the caller I had no business with Humana, didn't want any and to never call my number again.

To stop these annoying calls from Humana you must call (800) 941-6172 – I ended up with Barbara in the marketing department taking my number to include it on the no call list - - even though it was already on the no call list

The person from this number keeps calling my phone it rings once and they hang up i call it back and get a recording and cut off they need to stop i get the calls early in the morning thru out the day until late at nite. I want something done about it thanks.

this number has called my phone 8 times in the past week, i never answered but today I finally did and they asked for a Stephanie. I said they have the wrong number and told them to stop calling my phone. we'll see

I get calls from Humana also.  They are handling some  stuff for the gov't.  If you are signed up with the Veterans Administration, you may receive phone calls reminding you of doctors appts, etc.

Received a call from this number today (4/28/11) . I didn't answer but is anything safe anymore ?

I've been receiving these calls 3 to 4 times a day for the last three weeks. Haven't picked up once, and like everyone else, when I've called back I've been told the mailbox is full and that I'll be redirected to someone else that can help me, only to have the call dropped.

Called Humana as per their website and was informed none of my information was on file.

Tried the 1-800 number posted above (thanks, NER) and was informed that is a local office and that I'd have to contact the national office. The phone number I was given there was 1-866-205-0000 (to confirm, search for that number on Google and you'll see it is, in fact, tied to Humana Medicare).

Called *that* number and, though the woman I spoke to this time was much less pleasant (in her defense, I'm sure she handles these types if situations a lot), she informed me that my phone number was tied to a member's account erroneously. I find that a little suspicious since I've had this number for ages and never once received a called from Humana but whatever. In any case, she claimed to have removed my number from their system.

I'll update if the calls persist but I think this may have done the trick.

I have had it with this number, they have called me six times today and it is only 11:52 Am, they start at 8:00.  I do not feel Humana is so desperate they need to do this to people. My husband is very ill and these calls are very irritating. He tried to call back and someone was on the line but wouldn't speak when he ask who was calling.  It's awful to be elderly and have to put up with this harassment. Thanks

This is abuse of privacy!! 3 or 4 calls a day, refuse to ans....
