Called 10AM on a Saturday.  I didn't answer.  Called the number. "We're sorry, your call cannot be completed at this time..."  I'll block and report to DNC.

It's because of the DNC (Democratic National Convention) that this type of thing happens. Socialized healthcare and its side effects.

Where are they getting our information.    I began receiving medicare last year and the phone calls were for me.   Everything to medicare to medic alert and step-in tubs.   This year my husband started drawing medicare.   Is it the doctor's office, govt., private records, pharmacy, etc. that is giving out the information.   Unfortunately we may never know.   There have been a number of doctor offices where private information has been passed along.   One assistant at a doctor's office was even selling social security numbers.   Block the numbers.   Do not try to call them back as you will then on a list of "live phones".    Be careful who you give information to,. Most of all keep an eye on your credit, bank, and other financial records.

In a lot of cases, all they have to do is plumb numbers into a computer or robo dialing machine. Some of the calls now are also coming out of foreign country's, India being one where a lot of company's have moved their call centers to.  However, google your name and number, any place such as spokeo that shows up, make them remove it.  And there are tons of security breach's as well, including the IRS..

Do consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.
