I am sure this guy is part of the "Nigerian Romance Scheme"!! Watch out!!!

Did he ask you for money????  What is your connection to the man with this number?

I  knew it.  Yes he wrote me on a dating site.  Wanted to text, then wanted to call me.  I ask him about his accent.  He said he was italian and his wife passed away 3 years ago.  He hadn't got as far as the money part, thank goodness I'm aware of the scammers.  Geesh they need to give up.

Yes, he is absolutely a scammer and we have enough information to take to the FBI. I have been undercover and feel free to contact me. He actually is not very good and should get a real job!

He just messaged me on www.b2.ca a online dating site and gave me this number. His profile is under simplewidowedman43.

He says he lives in toronto but I know that is not a toronto area code.

This guy, calling himself Dennis, just sent me a message on Tagged.com; the number actually matches up with Louisville, KY where he told me he is from, but the message he sent just SOUNDS too much like a scammer.

She goes by the name Candice Hamilton on Tagged and Facebook.  Says her Transmission is out in her car and needs $700 for repairs.

I figured i will add to this . I have actually met with this guy and am not sure why his number is coming up as scam but he clearly he's not .   I have asked that he switches number cause my best guess would be someone is tapping through it and running this scam .  There are a lot of scams on the net and we cant be too cautious

She said her name is Jessica North and she lives with her only true friend in West Africa. She said she's an only child and that her mother died when she was younger. She wants us to be a sincere serious couple and is looking for a good man like me to be with when she gets here. She looks great in a picture dating site. It was taken down by the site "chemistry". She says its because she has me and wants us to be a couple. She wanted me to take myself off of the dating site and said we were exclusive!

I was duped by this guy......not enough to give him money, i have none to give, but in placing my trust in him and investing emotionally. I feel so stupid. I thought wi th h a US number, surely it would be ok.  Epson learned.

I would love to believe you are right, but my gut is telling me that If I don't think logically instead of emotionally, i will feel even more stupid than I already do..

Yes! he got me too and I just realized it a half hour ago. He did get money from me ...
you need my help in getting him? I guess I have to write of that 1900$ I feel like a complete idiot! But now am just totally ticked off.

Online dating rule #1 states: When you meet someone online & they fall in love very quickly, start calling you their 'soul mate', but then ask you for money - for ANY reason - RUN! BAIL! Your new lady friend, or beau, is a Nigerian scammer sitting in an internet Cafe in Lagos, Nigeria. These guys are good at manipulating emotions, they've had lots of experience at it because that's what they do for a living. Due Diligence folks.

Now his name is Tony from Tagged. Just started talking to this scammer. Supposedly he's from Louisville Kentucky and in a self employed contractor. I am guessing that next he will have to leave the United State (not states but State, lol) and then have a financial emergency that only I can solve. Lol. Luckily, my brother is the Chief Building Inspector for the city of Louisville:-) Ya can't miss him, buff guy showing off his bicep muscle. PUH-LEASE!
