- Chris replies to Jeffthese are currently one of the biggest scams around !!!!
giveaways are the usual obvious......( most or all of these are usually in the scam )
1) wants to overpay ( they send a fake bank draft or money order.....IF cashed it will bounce.....the scammers hope they have a chance to get the merchandise BEFORE the bank catches the fraud money order or bank draft ......seller is on the hook )
1b) scammers also using fake PAYPAL accounts as well......( if you forward your PAYPAL account info....you are screwed as they will usually take over your paypal account ) .......paypal will usually do nothing for you as well.......
2) will take of " shipping themselves"
3) stuck on a ship / boat somewhere ( military or otherwise ) ....will send a " friend" to pick it up etc....
4) poor spelling / grammer and english.......these people are usually in nigeria / jamaica and related...... - Chris replies to Jeff| 1 replywhoops.....
and the easiest other way to tell:
# 5) scammers can't think of real name.........hence " john kings" ( usually always use a first and last name ).

bill billy
joe bills
john frank
henry johns
sam frank
