I get that you should pay your debt. I understand people have jobs to collect unpaid debt.  But there is no reason to be senselessly rude, callous and a complete [***] to a person that is being the absolute opposite.  A lot of people have fallen on hard times.  That does not give these dill-weed debt collectors the right to treat you as sub-human.

These people are rude, and use intimmidation and scare tactics that are illegal.  They represent themselves as "investigators" or "officers" from a law enforcement agency, telling you that they are investigating possible check fraud committed, and that charges will be filed and warrents issued!!!  It is a collection scam!!!  I asked them to provide me with proof that I owed them the debt, or copies of cancelled checks with my signature on them.  They said they were a "law enforcement agency", and did not have to provide such proof.  DO NOT FALL FOR THIS SCAM!!! Report them to the BBB and your state and local government!!!

I get a call from these people at least twice a week, usually during work. I am not allowed to answer personal calls unless its an emergency, and since I don't recognize the number, I don't answer. However, they leave a voicemail regarding a debt for a company I don't have any business with, with a claim and phone number. Everytime I have called them back, I have to leave a message AND the claim number, asking for a callback, and guess what? No one calls back, not until I am at work.

I don't know what I should do, they don't refer to me by name, so I am guessing they have the wrong number. Still annoying though...

They call claiming they are representatives from Comcast, yet when I call back, they claim they are "Eula Hermes". I called asking WHY they call my place of business three times a week only to have some ignorant woman yell at me "I DON'T KNOW WHO CALLED YOU!" I said I know for a FACT that you're not an associate of Comcast, because I WORK FOR COMCAST! And then she said "I'm not going to ****ing talk to someone with an attitude. Clearly they are trying to scam people by receiving their personal information. If anyone else has this problem, please call the BBB(better business bureau) just like I did. Another good thing would be to call them 10x more than they call you. You may ASK to be removed from the list but you will just be hung up on.

These idiots keep calling our house. We don't owe them anything have never heard of them and I am just straight annoyed. They are calling from Kentucky! I live in Ontario and have no dealings with them. Between them and the guys who keep calling about cleaning our air ducts when we already clean them all the time I think I am going insane.

I have no idea who these people are, I do not give out my personal cell phone number especially as a main contact number. I have a home phone number and if these people were serious debt collectors they could easily find my home phone number or send a letter like they are suppose to.
