when the number comes up it is listed and LG and E our electric company. Left no message. Called our electric company and they had no calls from them to my home number. It's either a telemarketer or a scam trying to say our electric is behind this was on our local news about them calling and pretending to be LG and E

I received a call from this number earlier an the caller I'd said L G AND E . Well I didn't answer bc I know this was not a number that they have to call customers. They didnt leave a message so pretty sure it's a scam or telemarketer

The caller claimed to represent Louisville Gas & Electric (LG&E). They asked if I wasted to participate in a conservation program. I'm guessing it is the one where they install a cut off switch on your air conditioner, that program saves the participant only pennies per month.

The call may or may not have been legitimate. I told them that I don't want to receive calls of this type. Their response was polite and I was told I will be put on the do not call list.

Yeah they called me too, no vmail left.

This was a legitimate call from LG&E regarding their conservation program.  They had also emailed me about it and when I called LG&E separately, they verified this was a valid call.  The email was:
