The number is a made up number. The company name is Active Credit Services Inc. A collection agency. Why would they hide their real number if it is a legit business?

I get a call from this number at least once or twice a week.  There's never anyone on the other end of the call.

They keep calling me and nobody is on the line.

I receive a call per day from this number.  The recording gives a return number, which is Active Credit Services.  When I called and asked to speak to a manager, I was told they were looking for someone I didn't know.  I was told the only way they would stop calling was if I put them in contact with this person, or gave them my home address.  When I refused to give my address, the manager told me "if you won't cooperate, we can't do anything to help you".

I've been called several times a week for over a month now (on my cell phone), but never answered. now I know. f*ckers.

i think ive gotten a call from this number before. this is a brand new number however. i dont know how they would have gotten it. Im going to my t-mobile carrier to find out what's going on and how to block the number. its ridiculous!

they have called me 4 times in the last 20 minutes - never leaving a message.  i didn't know the number so i decided to look online.  thanks for all the postings!  now i know the call is bogus!!

They must have called me at least 12 times today. I've never answered. Thanks for the info!

I had that number call me 3 days in a row.  Of course I couldn't call back.  Finally they left a message 3rd day.  It was NW Natural Gas Company, I was late paying my bill.  Maybe utility companies subcontract to bill collector mentioned in previous post.

The DAY i got my new cell phone number, this number began calling me. I believe my call history shows that they've called about twice a week for a month now beginning on the day i got this phone. Is there a way to block it?

Started getting calls from 503-000-0000.  Got home today and caller ID there were 10 calls from the number today!  Have answered twice and there has been no one on the other end of the line.

I get this call all the time and that is what is in the caller ID. Anyway it always is a recording. It says in a Ladies voice "This is a CSI and I don't answer or call back. Because that stands for Crime Scene Investigation and I know that nothing like that is here. I don't answer it. They need a different response if it is a Debt Collector or a Telemarketer.

From this website I now know that this is Active Credit Services Inc. But when I answer the call, nobody's there and no instruction as some have said. My concern is it is a new telemarketing ploy, to get past the no call list.

I received a phone call from this number at lease once a week.   How do I stop it?  I am on the Do Not Call registry.
