I received a call from this number from a fellow with a foreign accent saying that they'd received a number of errors coming from my computer.  I dismissed them, but assume this is some sort of phishing by phone.  They gave a company name, but I didn't hear it clearly.  The caller ID shows this number and "Name Not Found."

same as others-heavy middle eastern accent saying that "they" received error messages from "your" computer. Seeing as how we have 5 computers in house, obviously was a scam call & immediately told him where to go & hung up.

This guy with an accent has called us everyday for the past two weeks and it's to the point where we would like to be able to report it somehow. He told me he worked for QTech but the other day he told my mother that he worked for Microsoft. Every time he calls he says "I'm the computer guy." The number we get is the same 5030001235

This company called me with 2 numbers; the one listed here and also 305-224-1023.  They gave me the # 347-305-2013 to call them back at (when I was able to connect to my computer so they could 'instruct' me how to 'fix' the error messages they were receiving from it. ) I assume they are trying to connect remotely to get personal info. to use for identity theft scams.

Gentleman speaking English with a heavy accent calls my CELL phone, tells me he's with Qtec(?) and he's calling about my "Windows running computer" and it had sent several error messages to the global server... Ummm, I don't think so.  Can we say PHISH/SCAM.  Didn't wait to hear more.

I received several of these calls all three had and Indian accent. First "Private number" then "Unknown" the "503-000-1235" all saying their server is receiving spam or error massages from my computer. When I asked them if they had my name, IP address or email, they said "they did not have that information in front of them." I told them to remove me from their list and stop calling. Where do you send the complaint and how do you pin them down?

I got a lot of these calls as well last week.  Finally when they called the last time, I spoke only Spanish ( and I know very little spanish)  but it worked!  The guy hung up on me and hasn't called back since :-)

    Not Happening
This "Robert" guy has been calling all day. He was very adamant that I needed to sit down at my computer. He actually hung up on me twice when I started asking questions.

    Frustrated
This is the second call I'm received.   I told him I was not hooked up to the internet, he said I was.  I asked for my address, and shockingly he could give me the city, state and zip code with 4 digit code.  I told him I have a friend who is an IT director.  He told me that my antivirus was not blocking everything.  He told me I could tell my IT director to google PC matic.  for information of the software they sell.  That's all I could get out of him.  Hope this helps someone.

    Aggravated
So i received multiply phone call from this number.  Asked to be removed from his list and the guy became belligerent stating that the company did not have a list and would continue to call until I completed the task he asked of me. I hung up and reported him to the FTC.

Spoofed number from yet another bogus "Windows Tech Support" scammer from India, claiming to be from Qtech Solutions (which is also a bogus claim) saying my computer was sending out errors, trying to get me to let him connect to my system so he could "fix it." Since I have numerous devices connected to my network (most running Linux OS distros) I asked this script-reading dimwit what the MAC (EUI-48) address was of the device sending out errors, and he said "Oh, you are using an Apple. We can fix those, too!"

I now have an old WinXP laptop that is slow as molasses, secure formatted and reset back to factory defaults. I've installed a load of freeware and created a bunch of fake documents, to make it look like a used computer. I then imaged the drive so I can restore it quickly. From this point forward, I will intentionally lead them on and allow them to infect that computer, wasting their time and keeping them from scamming an innocent person while they think they are getting one over on me. Karma's a female dog, scammer.

The callers are scammers from India.   As such they ignore all US laws.   They will continue to call you.  Call blocker is your best bet.

They called our house too and said they were receiving error messages in the morning from our computers and that I would even lose email (I pointed out that it is web based and that I didn't quite understand how that worked).  The guy, from India I think, was getting agitated with my questions and insistence on him giving me the "how to" because I wasn't at the computer (it really was right in front of me).  He wouldn't give specifics about how he knew the info, he even then said all computers in the house were infected because we were using the same wifi....I told him the person with "that computer" wasn't home and he didn't like that so he moved to a different tactic.  I'm NOT calling him back.  He said the company name was "I Fix"...he spelled it and I repeated it and he said YES.
I got the number to call him back...347-109-1162.  They called from 503-000-1235
    SCAM all the way!!
