have been consistently blocking phone numbers from 503 area code.  Have not a clue to whom this number belongs too.  Doesn't  leave a message. No caller id available.  Just indicates unavailable.

I called this number back.  Nothing but dead air the first call.  On the second call I was put into the automated system for Seterus, Inc.  Seterus is the new name for IBM Lender Business Process Services.  Apparently they needed a new unknown number to go along with their name change.

Update:  After calling this number back and getting the automated system for Seterus, this number has repeatedly been calling me back.  I've received 4 calls from this number in the last 15 minutes.  I'm wondering if someone has a mock-up of Seterus' phone system and is phishing for your social security number, account information, or bank information.  Please use caution and only call Seterus' listed number and do not give any information whatsoever to this number.  It could be a valis number, but I have my doubts.  Better safe than sorry these days.

Yep, its definitely those yokels over at IBM Lender services. i set up a separate phone# Five months ago; but it wasnt until 2 weeks ago that i finally gave out the Number. I Only gave it to 1 Company: IBM Lender Services.
Now, surprise surprise, 'somebody' has started Calling... but NOT leaving a message. Ridiculous.
They can call All they want; its Not my Real Phone #.
They can also take back the house; the mortgage is now THREE times what the home is worth :D

Yep, this number calls a million times a day everyday and no message left.  How do they expect you to return the call if you don't know who it is or what they want.  It is getting very annoying and they clog my voice mail without saying anything.

Lmao seriously! They wouldnt work with us to reduce our mortgage either. Now we are short selling. First time I got a call from this # though - I didnt answer.

Just another new number to ignore folks!  Horrible company, and they are not lenders!  Low - life scumbags that will literally show up at your door.  Don't give them information.  They are collectors that take advantage of homeowners looking for real help and feed lies just to foreclose.  

Next time you get a call and do pick up ask them if they don't mind if you record them.  And this usually works.

I haven't returned the calls that I recently started getting, but SETERUS recently forceplaced additional hazard insurance on my home and tried to bill me for the $29,000 that THEY felt I needed. And actully added the cost to end of my loan! My insurance agent had to provide them with the actual cost replacement calculators to prove my coverage was adequate. I am still in a battle with them. They truly are scum-bags in my opinion. BEWARE!

Thanks for the heads up! They tried this with our numbers tonight. Annoying as hell and we're current on our mortgage. Go figure.

Be careful when dealing with Seterus and IMB Lender Business Process Services. They repeatedly lie and give you incorrect info when you are trying in good faith to modify your mortgage! They are con artists. Do not believe anything they say. Get EVERYTHING in writing!!!
I'm glad I found this site. I've been getting calls from this number all the time and it is not the regular Seterus number!!!

I recieved a 2 calls as well no message left either! My mortage was sold too! Hearing all this makes me, a little worried about who is holding my loan now! I figure if they want to get a hold of me for sure, they will leave a message!

My mortgage was sold to this company as well. I've had this current mortgage for over 5 years and not once have I been late - NOT ONCE. We had some hail damage on July 1 and had to send them the check from our insurance company. Now this is the 3rd time that we've had hail damage and the damage is always the same. The other 2 companies (my mortgage has been sold 3 times now) were fine - no problems at all. Seterus told me "we don't allow homeowners to do repair work on their home" - WHAT!?!? I BUILT most of what was damaged, sided our house, roofed it and now they tell me I am not qualified to fix it??? Also, it was about the 8th of the month when I first contacted them and my contract (like all mortgages) states that I have until the 15th to pay the note. They had the nerve to ask me where my payment was! They are calling my cell phone regularly now. They treat me like I don't pay my mortgage (typical collection agency) - again I have NEVER been late. I am so upset with Chase for selling my mortgage to them (and we have no say in it!). My husband and I will spend the $3000 or so to refinance our home JUST TO GET RID OF THIS COMPANY!!!

I was sold by Chase too to these people. I pay every month on time, and today, I came into work and they called me on my work number this weekend!  I am looking for a new company.  This company doesn't sound stable by the looks of these emails.  They wanted to know who my HOA was, and I didn't tell them because it's none of their business.  I pay my HOA fees every month on time!  They also wanted me to sign some papers when I transferred to them (by Chase's sale to them) but I never did. It was just too weird and I had never in my life had to do that.  I'm doing a search now to refinance but my house is worth half as much as when I bought it 4 yrs ago.  I am checking to see if Quicken can get me in.

My mortgage was sold to Seterus by Chase as well, but I have to say I have never had any issues with them other than this new number calling and not leaving a message.  Everyone I've talked to there has been very helpful and polite.  They did modify my existing loan to lower my monthly payment without refinancing and at no cost to me.  I do have an insurance claim in now to get my roof replaced due to storm damage but the work has not yet been completed so I assume that is what the calls are about.

I just learned Bank of America sold my mortgage to them also. I called the yesterday to see if there were other options to pay besides mailing. After reading everyones posts im very concerned ive just been handed over to the wolves!!!

Got a letter stating that Seterus will be servicing my loan, currently with BOA, so if you have a loan with BOA, they might be reaching out to 'inform' you that now you pay to them not BOA.....just a thought...since I just got a call, but was not able to answer and read the posts...will try to call later and see what I get.
