Unwanted call that has a dead line when trying to call back

Sorry, I didn't listen to the whole message.  They were offering me a cruize.  That was enough info to hang up.

I got a call from this number and when I called back there was a weird low sirene noise.

When I answered no one was there. Called back got a weird no answering busy signal. Phone says it's from Salem, OR.

Just got a call from this number said Salem, OR

Just got call, but didn't answer; when call back, it's a dead line.

Got a call from this number; didn't answer, because I don't know anyone in this area code.

I got a missed call from this number, then my coworker got the call trying to tell a cruise!!!

On my company cell phone.  Answered and heard a deep siren type noise that could have been ship's horn or whistle.  Immediately disconnected.

I just answered a call from this number by mistake! (thought it was from our local 502 area code)
It was a recorded message about a free cruise. I hung up as soon as the message started...still mad at myself for answering it...I'm usually more careful :(

Some guy called me from this number with a recorded message about cruise tickets and a survey. I didn't get an option to opt out or call on operator, so answered questions, thinking it was a telemarketer, and I'd be able to demand they remove my name from their lists. Like I suspected, at the end there was an operator. I told him I to take me off the list. Then it goes back to the recording, telling me to go to a website to check my name and give more info. "This sounds more like a scam", I think, and upon googling surveycruise.com, IT IS A SCAM. It is not telemarketers, so I don't think my name and info is going to be removed from any list, and even though the questions were very,very vague, they now know more about me! How can I keep from getting more calls? Those jerks have my CELL PHONE#!

Me too. I just got the call about 20 minutes ago but didn't pick up. When I tried to call back I got that siren sound.
