This is the Wells Fargo Bank debt collection department.

Keep getting calls from this number (1 each day for the last three days).  If it is Wells Fargo Debt collection it would not make sense for me.

Called back and seems very suspicious.  Man on other line answered by immediately asking for Wells Fargo Credit Card number.  No introduction, no name provided at all.  Music and message played while on hold was also not the standard (message too brief, no advertising for other services, just seemed "off").  Told person on the other line that I did not have a credit card number and that I kept getting calls and that no one says anything and hangs up.  He asked for my cell phone number and when I gave it to him, he said "ok we'll take it off, thank you."  No explanation, nothing.

I also received a call from this number. Who in the hell!!!!Is this Gustavvvvvvvvv???

I answered this call. They asked for my credit card and account information. I gave them 1234-567-89. They asked for my mother's maiden name and I told them it was...F-U-C-K--O-F-F. They better recognize they can't fool this mo-fo. I kept calling them back and asked for a job. I think I have an interview with Gustizaaavvvvvvv next week. Wish me luck!

called me this morning at 8:31.  didn't answer. got 2 calls from another 503 phone number (503-403-2670) yesterday.  didn't answer.  i figure they can leave a msg if it's a number i don't know.

This number has called my phone twice today.  The phone rings less than half of a ring and then they just hang up.  It seems like they want you to call them.  Just ignore the calls.  Don't call back!

Number has two "1" in front of the area code.  They don't leave a message

9 calls in a matter of 4 days. i've never answered it cause if it's important they'll leave a message since i didn't know who it was when i first got the call. i have friends with the 503 area code. but. not someone who'd be that obsessed with me.

Same experience as Unemployed mo fo. They said my number was for an account registered years ago, first Ive ever had a call on my number, definite scam.

I have received two calls from this number today.  I picked up on the second one and they asked for me and when I asked who it was they hung up.  Are they trying to hack into my bank account?  I am going to report it to Wells Fargo.

they call me at all times of the day including sundays.. no messages what the hell??

I've been called twice in 2 hours on my cell, and once in that time on my work phone, no answer any of the times.  So after reading all these statements, I called Wells Fargo Customer Service (not the number, the REAL Wells Fargo)and give them the 'ol "What the Hell?"  They said that it wasn't them, and that it's probably a scam.  Something like the scammers ideally want YOU to call THEM, so it's not solicitation, i.e. they can claim you called them and gave them all your info.  Yeah.  Cause we're ALL that friggin stupid.  So if you can actually TALK to someone at that number, tell them where to go lick a light socket.

Calls at least once per day at various times.  Rings 3 or 4 times, then hangs up without leaving a message.  Been doing this for about 3 or more weeks.

They have called twice today . . . no message was left; I was talking to someone else when they called. This is a first for me on my cellphone number. This was to a pay-per-minute in advance cellphone, not our regular one.

They called me a bunch of times and then finally, I answered. The was a brief pause and then he said my name and asked if he was speaking to me, I said yes... he had all of my information, only information wells fargo could know. He said I had missed a payment on my credit card, which turned out to be true. He wanted to transfer money from my checking to my credit card, but I told him I would do it online. Then he asked to verify some information, I got off the phone. Honestly, it was kinda weird, but how could he have known about that missed payment if he was not with wells fargo?

Received several calls, since I don't recognize the number I don't answer.  So after getting several more calls without messages, I decide to pick up, the girl (Angelica) answered the phone and asked for my account number...WTF?!?  So I asked who this was, and yes, it's Wells Fargo Credit Services, so I kept asking her who they're looking for, and she just kept saying, "I need your account number", so I told her, unless she told me who she was looking for and the purpose of the call, I wasn't going to be giving her any of my personal information, after all, she's the one that called me....she said, "I need to verify your account information, and if you're not willing to give it to me, then the phone calls will continue" she then hung up...I then called Wells Fargo main number and asked to speak to a supervisor...she was aware of the "department which handles these calls" and she would have my number removed from their list because my information did not match the person they're looking for

Somehow, even if I put these guys on call block, they get through.  This is very scary.  They seem to have lots of information.  Any body have suggestions?
