Called, didn't leave a message.

Same thing at our house...these calls seem to come more and more frequently

ID reads "Energy Discount". I quickly push the answer button then the off button.  I'm sure it's a scam or telemarketer.

I went ahead and answered the call because of the name (Energy Discount).  Did not expect the message they were talking.  Gave me a loan number for the mortgage to my home (we don't have a mortgage).  Said to press 5 to negotiate new mortgage rates.  I'm thinking it is a scam.  I went ahead and pressed 5 and received a message saying all reps were busy with other phone calls.  I told them to delete me and I was going to report them to the DNC site.

I had the same experience as the last person.  They had a loan number which was not accurate.  Then they wanted the name and phone number.

Same as above - recording giving a loan number and that they were offering a modification of some sort to make it more affordable.  I hung up.

Telemarketer trying to get your phone #, mortgage # etc.

Fact 1 - The DNC list CLEARLY does not work, everyone should knows this by know!
Fact 2 - Filing a complaint with the FCC does not work, a total waste of time; done that.
Fact 3 - Having an unlisted phone will not help you.
Fact 4 - Asking/begging telemarketers to take you off their call list does not work!
Fact 5 - No "class action" suits are filed and certainly, this is not a remedy.   Many of these telemarketers are in other countries and out of the jurisdiction of the USA.

Uniden and Panasonic make CALL BLOCKING telephones.  They’re cheap - $40-$60 and they usually come with a 2nd wireless handset, and they work beautifully!  These phones also block “PRIVATE”, “OUT OF AREA” and "UNKNOWN" calls!!!

I just checked my answering machine & this number appeared. I figured it was a scammer. They didn't leave a message.

They made it sound like my bank was being forced to have them call me about renegotiating my loan. They are trolling for desperate mortgages under water.  Scam Ba$#@rds I'd say.

Called me at 6:08 pm today.  Caller ID said "ENERGY DISCOUNT".  No message left.  I report these things all the time to the FCC and they don't respond, nor do these type of calls stop.  Very annoying.

I got a call from them too.

Energy Discount was harassing me a few months ago and now they're back with twice daily calls from several different phone numbers/area codes. They never speak, they never leave a message. Reported to Do Not Call, nothing has been done, no doubt, nothing will be done. I'm on the Do Not Call list, and this has never stopped any of these calls. I don't want to block private/unknown numbers since I get a lot of international calls but seriously, I've had enough!

Idots if someone gets a.address on these guys and I will finish the calls

This company has been calling 2x, 3x a day. They do not have a 'remove me from the list' option and they hang up when you ask to speak with the supervisor.

Sick and tired of jerks who call and aren't there.  I am on DNC list. Report the suckers

It's 5:18 PM and I just got a call from this number. They called yesterday as well. I didn't answer the phone each time as I could tell it was a scammer.

Scam! Trying to scam money by alleging to help with mortgage negotiations. This scam is getting old anyway at this point, since there are now federal programs (at no direct cost) that are to assist with this anyway. This is about the 3rd call I've received from them in as many days.
