Another strange silent phone call without any response when I pick up the phone.    
And I do not know anybody from Oregon USA.

Survey for cruise tickets.  If you answer they will know it's a working number and start calling more.  Just hit ignore.

Annoying and persistent

This number called and left no message. What's up with that anyhow? I'm glad I didn't pick up and get silence, that creeps me out and I wish companies with systems like that could be charged. If it's a company it should have to have an id showing when it comes through 'phone display' stuff.

Survey for cruise tickets.  These people have phoned a Canadian cell phone number 8 times in the last two months from different phone number and area codes!  It's costing me money.

The individual was too shy to speak, just silence at the other end of the line.  Looking from the above comments it was a good thing they didn't want to talk.

answered several times at work number - no reply

this type of calls is set up by fido, rogers, telus, bell to charge their customers for incoming calls. F**ers

There is no reply because it's an automated fax dialing your number.  If it's not greeted at your end with a fax signal it just sits there waiting.  Annoying - yes.  But not as bad as the SOB telemarketers.

This number keeps calling my cell phone in Canada and even though I have never answered, I've gotten about a dozen calls over the last 2 days.

C'mon. Stop writing your life story here. Now that you have read the comments, you don't have to tell us what you did or what you thought. Just don't pick it up anymore.

This is a call from "the captain" offering deals for cruises - SCAM!  I am the switchboard operator at a large law office and we get these calls several times a day, but they change their number frequently.  Previously the calls were coming in with a Maine area code.  We have gotten close to 40 calls a day some days from these numbers!  As we have several hundred lines for our office, we have no way to have them stopped.

Did not answer the call since it was a number that we did not reconized ?

yup...got a call from this number 1 503 457 1028...picked up and no one answered.....i have to pick up co'z i'm looking for a job...so i just can't ignore it.....but other than that...I got no response...

just got a call... i am in ontario, canada, don't know anyone in OR

automated telemarketing crap.  also received similar calls from a number in Maine for cruise tickets.
