It's a [***] robocall, advertising [***] for Google.

I got a call 30 minutes ago but didn't answer it.

Our office got a call, it comes up on the caller ID as "GOOGLE CALL". When I answered, they hung up. I've spoken to these people before and they claim to be "associated" with google but upon contacting google, I found out this company is an independent company that google has nothing to do with.
I also want it noted that we are on the National Do-Not-Call list so I'll be reporting this call as it is illegal to call our office with advertisements. I advise others to do the same.

Just got a call from this number 503-457-1049 "Google Call".  No one on the other line so I hung up.  My office gets sales calls all the time.  It's annoying.

Multiple Robo Calls for Google ad placement.

Just received an automated call with a "Google Call" caller ID. Askd to place a small sign in our yard to cover the installation of a "free" whole home security system from an unmaned company. Pressed 9 to be taken off their list just for yucks. Know this never works but didn't want to yell at the person on the other end by pressing 1.

I pressed 2, but got no confirmation that we were removed.  I thought the new rules on robo-calls were limited to places you've done business with.  Thanks Google, keep it classy.

Got two calls and dial tone when I picked up the line. ID is "google call". Pain in the A$$.

Interesting, because it came up on my caller ID as "Member Services."  I didn't bother to answer it.

Said "Google" Of course, I didn't answer. I've been getting these stupid calls from all kinds of numbers for about 4 months now. I "blocked" the first 30. I normally got about 5 calls a day. In the past week they calls have REALLY decreased! I'm thinking maybe because of the "blocking" or the fact that I've never answered they've given up on me. I've only had 2 calls in the past 4 days. I unblocked all the numbers last Thursday, so at least I can start blocking new ones that call now. SO ANNOYING.

How can one number have two completely different caller ID's? My guess is that it is neither. Why doesn't the phone company fix their system so that caller ID's cannot be spoofed? They charge everyone to have it displayed. Why can't they make sure that it is the name that they have on file? We are getting ripped off!

Got a robo-call. Their machine keeps calling no matter what option you choose. Now it calls and if I try to get a live person to screw with because they keep calling the machine hangs up. I tried calling back and get a message that won't get you to any person but informs you that you recieved a call from a telemarketer (NO [***]) and if you want to be removed from this companies do not call list press 1 at any time. Hey Jerks read all these posts. Most of us opted out of wanting your garbage with the useless DNC. If I wanted you I would call you!!!.

Will start looking for legislators soon to try to get someone to make phone companies put in technology that will not allow for caller ID to show any # other than the actual one the call initiates from. Please any that read this do the same. If we can get true Caller ID phone #s then we can hold the phone companies accountable for allowing clients like this. They know it is going on. They act like they care but these jerks that bother us are paying them good money for their services to help them break the law.

The Do Not Call Line is for all calls, including sales calls. Some surveys are exempted. Violation of the Do Not Call regulations results in a fine if the caller can be found. It's worth reporting.

Robocalls are also illegal and can be reported to the National Do Not Call Line. Honest business do not make robocalls unless they're so small that the business owners don't know the law. A robocall claiming to be Google has to be a scam.
