Just got a call on my phone from this number and got the tail end of a recorded message to press 1 to be deleted and press 2 to get an operator.

I got a recorded message call from "Service Call". The recording offered a free security system to the home owner if we would agree to place their sign in the yard. I pressed 1, Jason answered and initially said he worked for GE, then he said he worked for a subcontractor of GE, then he said he worked for "Maxam". I then asked to be placed on Maxam's do not call list and that I wanted a copy of Maxam's call policy. Jason responded that he didn't have those abilities but that he would try. Jason hung up.

I am already on the do not call list.

"This is the FBI reporting a break-in"....that's all I heard because I hung up.

The message said "The FBI reports a break-in every...minutes" and goes on to ask if I would allow a sign to be placed in my yard, they would install a home security system free.  Uh huh.  It was "Press 1 for a representative or press 9 to be placed on THEIR Do Not Call list.

The only thing about being on the Federal Do Not Call List is that it prevents a live person from making an unsolicited sales call.  I have a "No Soliciting" sign outside my door.  How do I get one on my phone?

We have received numerous calls in one day, house and cell.
Will not any # that is not know to us. Even if it is a company.

We got the same messages as above.  The freebie is they put a sign in your yard.  Told them we are a business (which we are) and if they wanted to place an order, fine, otherwise don't call again.  Guess being on the Do not call list doesn't really matter to them.

Another call from this number selling security systems.  Reported them to Missouri No-Call List.

Same as others. "Security Service" references FBI breakin. Pressed 1 to speak to an operator, but it hung up.

Call was at 7:28 PM PST - automated.  Illegal in California, and in violation of DNC list.

I heard " the FBI reports"..and I kept listening , it said press 9 for do not call or 1 for operator ..if i were going to get a deterrent it wouldn't be from phone call like that. I hung up without pushing any buttons.

I got a call from this number at 11:14 p.m.  I am also supposed to be on their no call list from previous calls.    It was for a free security system.  This needs to stop.

Called and left message about free security system if I allowed a sign in my yard.  Don't pick up calls I don't know and definately won't press #s on their line so they can confirm I have an active number and sell it to other scammers.

I wish these ignorant companies would stop calling people...you are on the DO NOT call list, you press 9 to be removed, yet they do not do it...

http://www.fcc.gov/complaints and file an informal complaint. The FCC is impotent and turns thins over to the FTC (semi-impotent) when you file an informal complaint.  All the donotcall.gov seems to do is to provided stats about how many calls are being made.  

It will help if you have three or more calls with time and date to fill out the form.

"Nuisance phone calls not originating in Tillamook County
Police here have been fielding complaints from all over the United States about harassing calls from a telemarketer with a 503 area code phone number.

Tillamook Police Chief Terry Wright said complaints have been coming for about three months.

Even though the calls have been traced to a 503 number, Wright said, they are not originating in Tillamook County or anywhere else in Oregon.

The number - (503) 457-1034 - is registered to Pacific Telecom Communications Group Inc., a telemarketing company in Los Angeles, according to the website for the Oregon Public Utility Commission.

According to another website, Scaminformer.com, Pacific Telecom Communications Group provides telephone services for "two layers of hidden companies that refuse to abide by federal regulations regarding telemarketing."

A number of complaints posted online about calls from that number say recipients are asked questions of a medical nature. A Google search of the phone number turned up an online pharmacy that does not give its location or phone number and can only be contacted by sending an email through the website.

Scaminformer.com said similar complaints have been lodged with authorities in Montana about calls emanating from a phone number with a 406 area code.

According to Wright, no complaints have been received by his department from Tillamook County residents. He added that local law enforcement agencies have no jurisdiction in the matter.

The police chief urged those who have received harassing phone calls from telemarketers to contact the Federal Trade Commission at (877) 382-4357 or online at www.ftc.gov and file a complaint."

Good luck!  Only if enough people file informal complaints at http://www.fcc.gov/complaints, is there a chance of putting these scumbags out of business.

I keep asking them not to call and suddenly their English skills aren't as good as they were while using my minutes! I'm reporting every single call they have been making! Thank you again!

I keep getting phone calls from this and other numbers. This morning while on the phone they called twice but I didn't interrupt my call. When I called back, I received a message that the number had been disconnected, after it rang 7 times! I get my hands on their necks I'm a gonna wring 'em!
