Some form of telemarketing.  Wanted to speak to the owner and had the name from some records.

The person could barely speak understandable English.  He said we had ordered medication when I told him we were on the Do Not Call List.  He was just trying to cover up that he was a telemarketer.

Caller said he wanted to know if we needed to refill our prescription for cialis and some other drug.  Said they assist local pharmacies in filling prescriptions.

They said they were conducting a survey and I  would receive a free cruise to the Bahamas for 2 days for participating. I hung up. Should have stayed on the line to get all the available info, like I was playing along with them.
The more info we can get from these scammers, the more we have to report to the FCC WEBSITE and help them Put these crooks out of business!! Let's put a few careful minutes into our research if possible, like the crooks do and help protect each other.

This number called and said that my prescription for Xanax was ready and they wanted my credit card number to get it.   He called me by a different name.  I have told these jerks for 5 years that I'm not Heather and to take me off the list.  Finally, today I told him that my cell phone was on the do-not-call list and asked him if he was familiar with for 1088G with the FCC.   He got scared and started stuttering and said ma'am I'm gonna take u off our list right now.   Thank god! Ater 5 years!     I did fill out the 1088G form @ fcc website anyway after the call ended.  

PEOPLE.....IT IS ILLEGAL TO TELEMARKET CELL PHONES.   PLEASE REPORT THESE SCAMMERS. IT ONLY TAKES A FEW MINUTES AND THEY DO GET FINED BIG TIME!!!!!!!

Said they were student services, I told them I had already decided on a school and they hung up. I continue to get calls from this number, I wish they would stop calling me.

This number called me every hour. I don't answer calls with unknown area codes. I accidently picked up a call. The guy couldn't even say the name right. Then when I responded with the name in a way that I thought he was trying to say. He then hung up. I couldn't believe this person calling me every hour.

I picked up the call and it was a prerecorded message. I wasn't really listening as I get a lot of calls like this from debt collectors calling for my ex-boyfriend. Something about a magistrate. Then it said "If you have already spoken to a representative about this, disregard this message. If you have not and would like to speak to a representative, press 1" So I pressed 1. The person who picked up barely spoke English. I kept asking him (her? hard to tell) who they were and they would say stuff like "uh...." "I dunno..." "I sorry, wrong number maybe" with long pauses in between. Then they eventually hung up on me. I called the number back and it was a dead line.

yes. it definitely is of deceitful intent and misrepresenting its purpose or how they got your number and why they are calling you. It should be vigorously prosecuted.

I've gotten the same call, but now when I call back it just hangs up?  Oh well, as long as they don't continue to bother me, I'm ok with it.

I received a call this morning from a man who identified himself as Lurf or Yurf from Yarkel home improvement contractor wanting to know if we needed  work done on our house and when he could set up an appointment for someone to come by and give us an estimate. Immediately it sounded phoney, especially since the phone number that showed up on our caller id was no where near to us.  There was all kind of noise and voices in the background.  Certainly sounded like other telemarketer calls I've gotten.  He knew my first name--don't know how so that's a bit uncomfortable.  I told him we weren't interested and said goodbye and hung up.

Male caller who could barely speak English, did not elaborate about what the call was about.

The call was from a "Pharmacy" wanting to knwo if I needed a prescription or any "other medications". It is not a legitimate pharmacy \and they call repeatedly.

They call us daily and I block them or just hang up on them. sometimes the message is different and they say you can remove them if you dial '9'. I block them with select call block but they just call back with another 503 number. What a pain, they should be flogged.

Just received a call...lots of background talking (obviously a boiler room) but no one said anything to me.  I just hung up.   BTW, we are on a "do not call" list but we're getting TONS of these trash calls.

I am receiving regular calls from this number. When I answer,  nobody is there. When i call back, the call is answered and immediately disconnected. Let's help gid rid of theses [***].

I keep getting calls from this number.  I answer and no one says anything even after I say hello multiple times.  The Do Not Call list is a joke.
