Again it is that Rachael from cardmember services scam. Push 1 and you get the same Black man's voice and when he can't steal your identity his pansey [***] hanges up. They get a new number every day, This one MUST be stopped.

Same [***] from credit card interest rate lowering scam.  Scum of the earth lies.  They say they don't care about the DNC list.  They admit they know they are breaking the law, but don't care.

They just keep calling and calling 3 or 4 times a day. I now punch 1. When they answer I blow a whistle as loud as I can.

Get 2-3 calls per day...they do not leave a message, always credit card interest, or we hang up.

Card Services...what a joke!  They call at least 3 times a day and all within an hour, with different numbers and names...last one being JazzPlayer.  When I finally decided to talk to a live person, he kept talking over me and when I asked if he understood English, he started trying to act like he didn't, in fake Spanish, keep saying that he didn't speak English, well, the joke was on him, I speak Spanish very well and when I started speaking in that, he hung up very quickly.  If the gov is offering the DNC list and it doesn't work, why offer it at all, when we the general public are constantly getting these types of calls everyday.

Card Member Services.  Again.  Call many times per day on all five of our cell phones and both our land lines, always from a different faked number.  Have just filed about the fifth complaint report with the FCC.

This site needs to add "Robocall" and "Known Identity Theft Scam" to it's drop down "Call Type" menu.

This was another phone number that showed up on my caller ID blocked list. Nice to know the jerks can't ring my phone anymore. I hope they sat there the whole 8 seconds listening to static until they were hung up on by the machine.

CID said Lower Interest.  Haven't answered any calls that I don't know who's on the other end for months now. Doesn't stop these idiots, they just use a different number and call again. I'm sure they were the toll free that called 20 min prior. They will never get an answer here.

I got this same call twice today. Why isn't it stopped?  Because of spoofed phone number and companies overseas dialing the numbers.  Basically, I think we're hosed.

"Rachel’s back, and this time, she’s brought her friends. Despite ongoing efforts by the Federal Trade Commission, complaints about robo-calls — from “Rachel from Card Services” and other automated telemarketer scammers — have skyrocketed from 65,000 monthly two years ago to 212,000 more recently, according to the Associated Press. What’s going on?

Blame technology, for one thing. “A lot of it has to do with the fact that the Internet is now connected to the phone system,” says Bikram Bandy, an attorney with the FTC. The tech tools scammers need to ply their trade have also gotten cheaper. “The people who are violating the telemarketing laws can get started with a very low capital investment cost.”

Increasingly, overseas scammers rely on inexpensive VoIP phone connections to run their robo-call operations out of reach of U.S. authorities. In addition, technology that lets a caller put fake information into the recipient’s Caller ID — a practice known as “spoofing” — has gotten cheaper and easier to use, making it harder for law enforcement to trace the calls back to their source."

What a shame - these jerks are calling an elderly person with Alzheimers.
Just adding to the confusion of an already mixed up person.
    Needs to be stopped!

My dad answered his phone to one of these card service scams, pressed 1.  The guy on the other end kept trying to get him to give his credit card number, but he refused.  Finally the guy said, "You can go to hell and take your credit card with you."  To which my dad replied, "Kiss my ass."  My dad is 80 - he doesn't need to deal with these sorts of morons!!!  He's old school and answers every call.  I do not, I just get annoyed at their stupid messages!!!
