I got this call and when I pick up phone, I say hello trible time but nobody answer. That's so weird for me !

i got called and i called the number back but it said it wasn't available

They are scammers looking for information. They pretend you owe them money, are very aggressive, and try to get information out of you. Hang up on them immediately.

This number appears to be an 'improve your credit card interest rate' telemarketer.  I listened to the spiel, pressed 1 for a customer service rep, and asked that he remove my number from their call list.  We'll see if my number really gets removed--he assured me he would.  Since I'm already on the Do Not Call list, they should never have called.

Called today, and showed up on the caller ID as "operator" no message left. Got be scanners. Seen this# before, just scanners and telemarketing f$%%.

Caller ID showed up as 5034571819 and they wanted to "improve my credit rating" as the other poster said earlier.

if you ask who they are they hang up.

To all who think it will help if you ask to be taken off of their list, they have numerous other phone numbers that they call from that come up as other states as the caller ID.  So, good luck.  If it's a number you don't know, don't answer.  I have a list of numbers from other states, North Carolina, Arizona, Montana, Georgia, Minnesota, Illinois, Colorado, Wisconsin, Texas, this Ohio number, not to mention Not Available or Unavailable calling for the same purpose... to lower your credit rates (as per recorded message), and this is your last opportunity to do so!  Just remember to keep current with your credit cards and you don't have to worry about any rates.

What a rip-off.  Don't these people have anything better to do than be in the business of "Professional Annoyment."

They will NOT take you off a list. Do what I do press the button to speak to operator and when they come on blow a whistle into the phone. I've had so many of these calls because I won't talk to them. This is stalking.  If they were in person they could be arrested they won't stop........well then deal with whatever I feel like dishing out!!!!

Just reporting that I received a call from this number.  I did not pick up, as it was one I didn't recognize.  I googled the number and came to a site that said there were scamming calls that come from this number.

I have received calls from this numer trying to get me to sign up to lower my interest rate on all y credit cards.  I am on the do not call list.  When I asked them to remove my name they hung up on me.  Who are they/ How can we stop them?

Received a call at 1:00 pm, from this number. The caller ID said "Operator". I had just hung up with a relative on a medical emergency situation, so when I saw the listing on the caller ID, I answered it. Right away, the message started that this was my last chance to lower my interest rates. That they had sent several letters to my address, and had not gotten a response and that they were ready to close my file. I wish I knew where this person is. I had gotten this call before, but this is the first time listed as "Operator". It really upset me due to the conversation I had just had on my relative. If I ever find out where the calls are coming from, I will go and close their file.

State that they are credit card services and that they have sent many notices by mail.  They make it SEEM as if they might be YOUR credit card company, but in fact are phishing for information.  They are "pond-sucking scum".

Same thing just happened to me.  

It was a recorded message, saying they had sent several messages to my home regarding my credit card.  (FALSE!)  Message said to press one to talk to someone, and I did.  Someone named "Ken" answered, and I said, "What company is this?" and he IMMEDIATELY hung up on me.  This was a call about lowering my credit card interest rate, and this does not apply to me in any way, as I pay no credit card interest.  I call these callers "Telebastards."

They say they are credit card services and this is your last chance, etc.   They have called repeatedly for months.  This is not your credit card company.

I never miss an opportunity to PRESS 1 so I can speak to a representative.  Tonight they called my home at around 7:45.  I Pressed 1 and it took quite a while for someone to pick up on their side.  I think I might have interrupted his dinner; such a shame.

I jerked him around for about 30 seconds pretending not to hear him correctly. Then spoke softly so he couldn't hear me.

Then I hung up.  It was a slow night so I had time to play.

I'd love to hear from someone who actually fell for whatever scam they are pitching.  Is it advance fee fraud?  It can't be legit, we all know that.

I beeen telling then I dont want this and to remove my number. This been going on for months.Now i reported it to bbb and my lawer.

I got the call lol. Hit #1, guy was all calm spoken saying I had stated I was interested in lowering my credit card interest rates, I said No I wanted my number taken off their calling list, and got hung up on lol. I called it back, it said to hit "1" to remove the humber from the list, but I know I'll get another call.
