I just received the 3rd call in a week from this number.  The call is from a prefix in Oregon.  I decided to pick up the phone this last time and got a garbled recording with the word "credit" mentioned several times. Caller ID says:  "DIR ASSIST OR". The smell of scam was too much for me, so I hung up before the message had finished.

This number recently started calling - up to 3 times a day. Such a blatant scam number that I was afraid to answer, they must be some kind of super-arrogant criminals. Anyway I turned off the ringer so I never answer any calls now - I can call back anyone I know.

And a special shout-out for all you scammer/criminals/mentaql cases who have destroyed yet another communication medium. Maybe now you'll have to go back to stealing coins from charity boxes like you used to.
