This is an unwanted call. I have asked to be removed over and over again. I guess I'm going to have to go there to stop them from calling me.

They call to say it's important credit card info. When I ask to speak to manager, or say "Do Not Call" or "Remove my name" they disconnect

"There are no problems currently with your account, however it is urgent that we speak with you about your eligibility for reduced interest rates on your current account. Press 1 now to speak to a live operator and reduce your rate, or press 9 to be removed from further notices". Yeah, right.

And whenever you press ANY button, to remove yourself OR speak to someone, they charge your phone bill. I have just been informed by ATT: These are the numbers that are part of the scam and all 3 have called my house today: 253-246-8538/360-529-6186/503-563-0286 Do NOT answer these calls or press ANY buttons, even to remove yourself from their call list. It's a scam to charge your phone bill small amounts of money that you won't recognize and sometimes larger amounts of money. There is NO way of getting this money back and your phone company cannot do anything to stop the calls or return your money to you. You CAN get a FREE 3rd party block on your phone so that these scammers cannot charge your phone. That's all the info I have. Please just hang up on these people and report the calls to the national Do Not Call Registry at: https://www.donotcall.gov/

Also please keep in mind that the name of the company that comes up on your phone CHANGES often, the phone numbers also change and if you CALL BACK you can risk being charged again. If you respond by clicking buttons the harrassment gets WORSE. I've been called 3 times today, probably in response to me clicking buttons. Call your phone company and have them check for '3rd party charges' on your phone. Some phone companies will do a ONE TIME credit to get the money returned. Get '3rd party charges' BLOCKED today. Good luck.

Repeated calls with "important information" about my credit card account. I repeatedly ask to be taken off their call list, but they never do.

Worth company they get their numbers from the do not call lst because they know they are working numbers and they know the gov. will do nothing to them. Nice ! I have three numbers two are registered and one is not. I get calls on the registered phones. Never got one on the phone that is not on the do not call list. I'll not register that one.

I also get calls from these people. You'd think some of our wonderful hackers would find a way to connect an accoustical modem to these caller's systems and hack the shnot out of them, and maybe even fry their system with an EMP. ;)

If they can add a charge on your bill your "phone company" CAN DO something about it--tell them to "recourse the charges" and call you Public Service Commission, and donotcall.gov. A 3rd party block doesn't prevent scammers-it prevents others at another number from adding charges to your number, similar to a collect call.

Card services scammers phishing for credit card info. I asked for Rachel the faked caller message name and the scammer told me to STFU and hung up.
These cowards are hoping to get somebody on the line that is easy to dupe and they get angry with they get a smart person on the line.
Gov. agencies are not doing their jobs to stop these scams. Phone companies are trying to make a profit  by selling you blocks per number when the caller ID is spoofed and they know it. And these scammers are using a centralized robocall service to hide behind. The FTC will not go after the ROBO dialer services that own the outbound dialer lines.  Scammers hire services to make the call and then transfer them to their clients when you press the number they tell you to press.
IF the FTC seriously wanted to earn their pay, They would go after the Robodialer services facilitating these scams. And also, go after the phone companies for their coalition with known illegal activities.

I asked to be removed, but instead was connected to a representative that sounded as if he/she ran 900 number service or was about to hack up a lung.  After getting stern and repeating myself several times regarding my number being taken off their list and threatening to contact the Atty General, Fed Trade Commission and possibly Santa Claus he/she responded by telling me by asking "how are you going to do that" and the promptly told me "to F*&$ myself" and hung up on me.  Gotta love customer service at its finest!
