Repeated phone calls.  Didn't pick up - no message left.  Called right back, picked up that time - silence.  Called the number, call failed.

this is a phishing call.

Called and asked if I knew a specific person, I said this isnt the person's phone and then asked if I knew that person very sternly sounded like a cop. I said I have nothing to say and hung up.

Called my cell phone. When I answered, they said "Hey, X!" in a friendly tone as if we were old high school friends or something. Then he said "Hey, this is Steve, from your bank. I was calling you real quick on your Visa..." and I hung up.

A number called me, but my caller id said BLOCKED.  I ignored it.  If it was a friend, shame on them for calling me with a blocked number.  They left a VM. This number (503) 614-5500 showed up.  haha, blocked my [***]!

Block this number.

It was from Sarah, a collections call from Wells Fargo Home Equity division...
Typically comes in when someone is late on a payment.

Some [***] claiming to be with WF,, SCAM !!

Calls from Wells Fargo, probably about a Visa.....since Wells Fargo foreclosed on my house last year they can use the extra money they made on the sale of my house to pay off my Visa bill

I got a call from this number this morning with no message , when I call it back to see who it is I actually get a interscept saying  I dialed it wrong please try again. I do not know who it is but Im on the Oregon no call list and Im preporting this number.

Received a call purporting to be someone from Wells Fargo offering me a reduced rate on my home equity line. Knew details of home equity line.  Called number back, but got "all circuis are busy" announcement. Did not sound like a bank officer, not very articulate.

"Caz" from Wells Fargo. "you need to pay on time!"

This is not a scam. The number is legit from the actual offices of Wells Fargo, each and every collections department calls out with a seperate area code. Therefore the cann is legitimate. Not a scam.

Wells Fargo Home Equity -- this is a collections call.  I am being foreclosed on and they don't leave a message, but if you stay on long enough (yeah, right) a person will come on the phone and ask you if you want to make a payment.
