I received a call at 8:26am (Eastern) from this number, which would be 5 in the morning, I believe, in OR...no message was left.  Obviously this seems sketchy for a financial institution on a Saturday.  I agree with the other respondent above; any calls from a reputable company would be backed-up with more information and/or at minimum a reason for the call.

Received two calls from this number on 3-2-2009 on my work line with no response on the other end.

Received several missed calls from this number, then today I answered and a man was on the line who said that he must have dialed the wrong number.

I received two phone calls today with only a brief amount of rings and then it hangs up. It may appear that a server may be involved in the random dialing of these numbers via a database that it may have acquired. I have yet determined the originating caller, but I have ways to find out exactly where this number is originating from. More later.

Received two calls here on my direct work line - caller ID said Wells Fargo Bank.  The first time I picked up, there was a recorded message that requested I hold for the next available operator, then was disconnected.  The second time there was no one on the other end.

I received a call.  I called Wells Fargo. They do not have a call center in OR, which is where this number originated from.

The caller was trying to get me to give up our employment and mortgage information, info that Wells Fargo already has.

NEVER give out personal info to someone that calls YOU.  Only if you are calling THEM.

As far as I can tell this number is an autodialer for Wells Fargo trying to find out when you answer your phone so their collections division can call you at whatever time you answer at a later date. (i.e. don't answer these calls.  Ever.)  Wells Fargo calls me every month, 8-10 days BEFORE the mortgage is due, harassing me to pay it over the phone (for an additional $20 fee of course) literally lying to me by telling me it's late when it isn't.  This is a shady trick by Wells Fargo to try and collect an extra $20 every month for no legitimate reason.

Wells Fargo treats its paying customers like absolute garbage and I can't wait for the day these [***] finally go out of business or get bought out by a legitimate banking company (which I have no doubt will happen eventually since they treat so many of their customers like common criminals).

Received call at 9:15 on Sunday morning - they did not leave a voicemail.

These people have been calling me two to three time a day, even on Sundays. I have told them that they have a wrong number but they keep calling. I have had this phone # for 9 years now so I don't understand how they can have a confusion. When I ask who was calling they identified themselves as Wells Fargo. This is completely disgusting...

Have been having phone calls from this number. They have not left mesg. Would like it to stop. I am so glad I googled the number.

Live caller - (we are a business) asked for the owner by name seemed to be a ligament call.

CAlled me twice, I called them back, asked me for my account number. I'm like, I've never bought or even rented a house. Quit calling me! Said they would take my number out of their system.

Kept getting phone calls early in the a.m. hours from this number but was either hung up or no one was on the other end when I answered.  Would even get phone calls on Saturday and Sunday from this number.  Not sure if it is Wells Fargo but have had problems with them in the past so it wouldn't surprise me.  I've always paid my mortgage on time and have never been late but about a year ago Wells Fargo attempted to put my home in foreclosure stating that I was 2 months behind on my mortgage.  So I proceeded to PNC bank where I do my banking and was given a copy of all my deposited checks from Wells Fargo.  I provided this copy to them and they still gave me a hard time!!!  I truly hope that Wells Fargo goes out of business for the way that they conduct themselves.  Luckily I have a friend who is an attorney who was able to straighten out my situation but I never even received an apology letter from Wells Fargo for all the inconvenience they have caused me!!!  Truly a garbage company, c'mon Obama, close em down!!!!!!!!!!

Hi...don't answer calls I don't recognize.  Use the rule...if you don't leave a voicemail...it wasn't important.

Many calls from this number on my cell phone which is on the do not call list. They do not leave a message, but I do have a mortgage with Wells Fargo which we pay on time every month, so I suppose it could be similar tactics to those described by other complaints in these forums. They call on weekends, mornings, evenings, but I don't answer calls from people I don't know on my cell. If they feel its important enough to leave a message, then I suppose it will then be important enough for me to respond.

called me, Eastern time at 8:50am asked is BL there? I said, no and they hung up.
I'm 100% current and have had three WF mortages.
