As I haven't had an account active here this is most likely a scam sent in Text form to my phone

i also got this same text message, from 971-344-2271 as well.

Same text message, don't trust text messages so went looking for the numbers online of course. Text came from "wireless caller" 971-344-2271. I somehow doubt Wells Fargo would simply text you regarding a card deactivation with a caller id of "wireless caller". Probably one of those "burn phones" you hear about.

Same as all above.
Will run to the local Sheriffs Dept to have them look at it as its a OR number.

Yep, same here.  Got mine at 6:26 PM on 9/1.  The text was from 507-720-9309.  I don't have a Wells Fargo Account.

Got the smae message from 507-720-9309. SCAM for sure, I got a phone call earlier this week saying press 1 to reach an operator my cards have been deactivated. Fishing for your account information.

I received this text as well.  I contacted Wells Fargo and it is a SCAM!

Just received this same text. It is a scam. Received from number 507-720-9309 and said to call number 503-688-9247. Definitely a scam, banks will not contact you this way.

I have never had an account in Wells Fargo.  It must be a scam.

Got the automated call from 971.344.2771 and the text said to call 503.688.9247.  No Wells Fargo Acct but wife has one.  She called her local branch and they said it is definitely a scam and not to give any information.  The have received many, many calls regarding this.
