sme here shows up as unknown on caller id, calls three or four times a day, leaves no messages, i am going to keep trying to find out who they are

I got a call on my cell from this number. They hung up on me as soon as I picked it up (only 2 rings). I called it back and got Wells Fargo Merchant services... Strange. I have no idea why they would be calling me, on my cell nonetheless!

It is Wells Fargo. I've called them back and asked to be removed from their list probably 4 times now, it works for a couple of months and then they start to call me back again...Very annoying!

I repeatedly get calls on my cell phone without any messages being left or identification showing on my caller ID.  I don't usually answer calls without ID.

They just called me and hung up.

Calls repeatedly with dead air, called it back once.  Its a phishing call.  Said from Wells Fargo and wanted an account number. Hung up. Have reported to my Attorney Generals office.

Turned out was Wells Fargo, calls stopped for awhile but got another one, still dead air on the other side.  VERY ANNOYING.

2 Calls from a WELLS FARGO caller id this morning that never leaves any messages or answers, 2 more calls at 6:11pm then 4 OUT OF AREA caller id calls with no number showing and 2 calls from another OUT OF AREA caller id 1-800-642-4720 all from WELLS FARGO credit card services. These numbers are on their website so it is Wells Fargo but they never identify themselves, leave any message or answer. Plus there is a Black BMW 330i license#4PHE736 that parks only on our section of the street daily sitting in car smoking (African American lady) and throwing butts/trash on street then leaves. We don't have any WELLS FARGO account or credit cards from them very suspicious and harassing activity going on here.

Now receiving 5-10 calls from 6pm-9pm after telling Wells Fargo to stop and filing FTC DNC complaints. Wells Fargo caller id calls 1-503-716-9592, OUT OF AREA caller id calls 1-800-642-4720 and OUT OF AREA caller id calls with no number showing. Very SHADY activity from WELLS FARGO.

I received two calls from #503-716-9592. The first call went to voicemail, but the caller did not leave a message. When I answered the second call, there was an automated message saying dont hang up for an important message, but nothing more. Annoying because I'm home sick, trying to get some rest!

WELLS FARGO TELEMARKETING is getting out of hand here, they never leave any mesages,never answers calls just hangs up, pre-recorded message doesn't play. After telling them to stop calling and filing numerous FTC DNC complaints they still call, now with several different numbers(1-503-716-9592 / 1-800-642-4720 / 1-877-740-3332;2226;2228) and a OUT OF AREA caller id with no number showing after 9pm. It seems like a calling game here with WELLS FARGO when one number is complained on they just use others to call and hang up. Websearch these numbers show several websites with numerous similar complaints on these WELLS FARGO calling that doesn't stop ,sometimes it goes on for over a year.

The numbers area code (503-716-9592) suggests the call is originating from Panama City, according to a Google search.

Actually if you google '503 area code' it brings up northwest Oregon area, says it's a really small community in northwest part of Oregon. Which is strange why a WELLS FARGO caller id would be coming from a small community in northwest Oregon. Sounds like WELLS FARGO TELEMARKETING call center , Wells Fargo has several contracted telemarketers that use WELLS FARGOS name when calling. I and several others are not WELLS FARGO customers which is even more suspicious.

Beaverton, OR to be specific Google shows on a white pages search for this number.

This is NOT wells fargo related. This IS phishing. I called wells fargo directly and they said this is NOT collections or in any way associated with the bank. somewhere along the line, info leaked out you have an account.

I agree with the above statement. Called WF. They are not affiliated with them. I am in collections with them but this is not one of their people. They got my info from someone inside and did a background check. They call anyone and everyone who might have had any relation with me trying to get info using me as an excuse.

Just tell them you dont belive their really with WF and they will hang up on you. It doesnt get any more obvious than that.

I started getting calls from this number almost two weeks ago.  I get at least two calls a day, ranging from 8am to 9pm!!  I've been reading that it is a Wells Fargo number, but I do not even have an account with them.  This is EXTREMELY frustrating!!!  Especially since the calls are made to my cell phone.  How the heck do you get them to stop!!!??? They have also been using 877-493-9048.

So far 5 phone calls in a row from the Beaverton, Oregon phone number called at 8:20a, 8:36a, 8:51a, 9:02a, and 9:13a, leaves a 2sec to 7 sec blank voicemail

getting annoying specially since it's my cell phone, I've already contacted Wellsfargo about my account so i don't know why i'm getting phone calls from this number.
