Received a call from this number twice after 5pm.  They left no message.

Caller ID said SSI. Woman on the phone asking for person by name. When I said wasn't here and was there a message they said they would call back and hung up in all in the same fraction of a second.

The call is from a independent survey company. They called me back to back and before I could ask what they were calling about they hung up. I called back and the recording says they are a survey company.

Political survey at the same time voter pamphlets were received in mail.

Number traces to a Next Tel Wireless user in Astoria Oregon. Caller ID says SSI.

I keep getting calls from this phone number...Its a Survey and I call back and its just a recording.  I cant say DO NOT CALL ME BACK.  I DO NOT WANT CALLS FROM THIS NUMBER ANYMORE

These fools keep calling me 2-3 times a day, won't say anything. Comes in as "SSI" ...if they are legit, they sure as hell can deliver a msg. on the answering machine. They need to be reported to the Atty. General of Oregon.

As a rule, some survey's, Political calls and charity's are exempt from the DNC.  However, having seen numerous threads with the SSi on CID, to me and others it is misrepresenting a Federal agency that most would answer.  This company needs to change its cid because its misleading and makes people Social  Security is calling them. So here you go:

Got a call after 9:00 from this number. Have answered before and it is a survey.

I have talked to this company once and have asked them to take my name off of their records. They have called me now 3 times within the last 24 hours. Every time I have answered the phone since I asked them to take me off of their call list they hang up the phone as soon as I answer it.  

Called after 9pm. I always automatically send unknown callers to voice mail. Left no message.

The problem here, of course, is that unknown callers after 8pm had better be on fire needing help or they may be set on fire.

These Idiot called and asked me if I would answer a few questions for their Company that does surveys for other companies. I told them no and to take me off their list..That was yesterday about 5pm. Since then I have received  calls from this number twice today.. I get a recording and they hang up..

Called at 7:45 p.m. and left no message. My number is on do not call lists. Currently it's voting time with ballots not turned in yet.

Wanted to talk to the person in charge of the phone service.

Don't bother. Nothing will get done. My advice is to block them.

Hadn't seen SSI on my caller ID in ages, but just got a call from them this evening, just after 8PM. I actually picked up, but there was no response. Hung up, and am now waiting to see how many more times they call.

Very persistent caller. Called 6 times within the last 4 days, usually around dinner time, never leave a message. I finally picked up today; when a lady identified herself as calling from a national survey company and asked for me by name, I told her to take me off their calling list.

Called claiming they were doing an evaluation of telephone service. Would not answer questions about who they represented, or if they work for the phone company. Hung up.

This caller called at 10:30 am with the caller ID of SSI.  Because I am on SSI I thought this was the Social Security Admin. but they left no msg which I thought was very odd... so I did a trusty search and found out here at my favorite phone number site 800notes that it is in fact a survey company!

This site has helped me more times than I can count in determining.... who these soliciting sleezebags are... love it!
