Call is from "Rip Off Report" telemarketers.  Definitely ignore the call.  They are Ripping PEOPLE off!

Ripoff Report can assure you that the call you received was NOT from anyone at Ripoff Report.  Ripoff Report is located in Arizona and all of the phone numbers for the business are Arizona numbers using the 480, 602 or 623 area codes.  Even then, Ripoff Report does not generally reach out to consumers or businesses in this manner and we highly recommend you verify who you are dealing with before proceeding with further communications.

We have been informed on a few occasions that there are people who contact individuals or entities through e-mail, or by phone, claiming to be with Ripoff Report in a similar manner to what has been described.  We believe there are many people out there trying to scam others in the name of Ripoff Report.  We believe these calls and/or e-mails (unless they come from a legitimate ripoffreport.com e-mail address - and not some other close variation of it) to be fake; we encourage you to ignore them; and if you are so inclined, you are welcome to contact Ripoff Report through our customer service department by e-mailing support@ripoffreport.com to advise us of the issue and seek confirmation that the communication you received was legitimate.  We always welcome the sharing of any information that you may receive during one of these types of communications.  It’s through diligent people like yourself that we are able to learn of these types of scams and are able to warn others.

Just got a cell call from this number 2-18-14 at 3.55 pm claiming a ripoff report had been filed against me. I have a company and they called my private cell. The whole thing is another ripoff!
