Just got a call from this number.  They left a recordered voicemail message but only hear something about lowering my interest rate.

I keep getting calls from this number and always get a generic recording. When trying to obtain more info they can not help. That is if you can speak to anyone.

About lowering my rates for my credit card and I dont have a credit card so when I said hat he hung up right away. I tried calling back and it disconnects.

New approach. I keep getting these calls, so I decided to have some fun. Normally they are rude and hang up on you and the so-called number to remove does not work. Not surprising as they already ignore the government "Do Not Call" registry. So, time to return the rudeness. I pressed the number and got an idiot that gets paid for this crap. Just answer their questions with juicy information like $15,000 in credit card debt and 24% apr, phony name and info and let them waste their time as long as possible. And then, just before hanging up on them, ask "how do you enjoy being harassed and hung-up on, then beat them to the hang up.

Just got a call from them myself tried calling back and the phone doesnt even ring just silence.

The "Do Not Call Registry" may be a scam also. My father told me that companies have a right to call you because of the freedom of speech. I agree that it is really annoying and pissing people off! I had gotten FIVE harassing calls from UNAVAILABLE callers!! I had to call my father since he is the account holder. He said he called Verizon, my phone company, and they said to either change your number or answer the call and get the harassing caller's number and block it.

I just got a call from them as well. 2/29/12 @ 2:10 pm.  They call yesterday too trying to lower my interest rate.  I don't have anything financed and I don't have a credit card!

Left a partial recorded message on voicemail. The talking was artificially speeded up, and began mid-sentence: “...your eligability expires shortly so please consider this your final notice: Please press the number 3 to discontinue other notices, Or press the number 1 on your phone now to speak with a live operator an lower your interest rate. Thank you: have a great day”

You father is full of b.s. Companies can only call you who have done business with you in the last year, or are a charity or political. Thats it. "Do No Call Registry" a scam? Get real

Just got a call from them.  Left no message.

If they are wanting to lower my rates, I provide info but give the phone number and email address to the local PD or the atty gen office.

I received my sixth phone call from 503-902-8477  "Account Management Assistance"
The scam involves reducing your credit card costs.   Pressing 3 to stop future calls does no good.  Pressing 1 to talk to a live person will only bring a quick phone disconnect after the person finds out that you are not a "live one".

I keep getting calls from this number!  When I go to have them discontinue getting these calls, and I leave my number, they just keep calling!!!!   I want to know how to report these people!  Isn't there somewhere I can write or call to report them.  Some kind of legal action consumers can take??  Besides reporting online?

These people have called for years.  I've asked repeatedly to stop calling, they get nasty and hang up on me.  I'm on the donotcall.gov site - I'm not sure what else to do to get them to stop calling.
