Hello everyone.. I'm so annoyed with (PPL) calling my home and my cell phone REALLY! So for the second time this week I get a phone call on house phone, claiming to be a vehicle Svc. department and saying that they have been trying to reach me   about my warrenty thats about to expire . So the first time this young women called I told her I'd have to discuss this with my husband first and that ill call her back, she done hung up on me. Today this other women calls  and rewords what the first women says and rushes me into talking with someone else on my options, so I tell her I am going have to call her back because I have no form of payment on me now and I so I asked for a # I could call her back with (knowing I have caller ID).. she quickly says oh I'll call you back in a few days, I said  no I need your number and name of company so that I can get verification of who you are she HUNG UP on me!!! So I called back twice first time she picked up and hung up! Second time a recording came on and asked if wish to be on the do not call list press 1!! Damn SCAMMERS!!!    The Phone # that called my house phone # (503)9084910

This company has continued to phone me regarding a vehicle that I no longer own in attempt to sell me an extended warranty. When I notify them that I have prior instructed to be removed from the list, they hang up.  In calling this number to insist that I be removed, I am notified that "all circuits are busy."

Chrysler/Dodge has sold the information on vehicles to these extended warranty companies and denies being responsible.

Consider maybe getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $50.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.

Just called me about extended warranty on my car stating that they have sent me numerous notices regarding my warranty running out.  Have extended warranty through Toyota already.  Tried to call them back and cant get through.  I am tired of hearing from these people via mail and now how did they get my phone number?

Just got a call from "Dealer Warranty Services". They knew my name and my Cell phone number. Yes, my 2012 VW's warranty is going to expire soon however I've grown tired of VW giving/selling my personal information to every Tom-Dick&Harry flaky and worthless 3rd party "warranty" company on the planet!! Enough!!

I have no plans on purchasing a extended warranty, if I did I would of bought it from VW when I bought the car instead of some fly by night company.

There was no name on the caller ID (almost did not answer), I'll just block the number so my cell phone won't ring if they try to call with the same number again.

Offered me an extended warranty on my car.  He had my name, car model and year and offered to tell me my VIN.  He asked if I had I pen to write down all these great benefits:  what would be covered and what would not.   There is an initial payment of $225 followed by 18 monthly payments of $145.44 which would provide coverage for 4 years.

I said I did not want to give my credit card number to someone who called me and that I would call back - what is the call back number?  He said by law I had a 30 day Right of Refusal.  He could just put it on my credit card.  I asked him to hold on and waited for about a minute.

I said I would call them back, but he said the offer was only good for right now.  Then he got his "financial guy"  on the phone who immediately lowered the costs - dramatically!  I said it sounded great, but what is the callback number.  That guy could not get off the phone quick enough!

IT SOUNDED TO ME LIKE THEY JUST WANT MY CREDIT CARD INFO!

Just like George above I got a phone call too from the "Dealer Processing Department" (not the "Dealer Warranty Services".. HA!). Funny how they knew my name too as well as my 2010 VW information.  I stayed on once for the pitch and had to laugh at how much it was -- and said there is also no possible way I am going to give my credit card info to a company I've never heard of nor can I find any information on the internet about.   Scammers for sure.
