While I never requested information from this group, I have gotten many calls in the past few months. Number has been added to my reject list so it just goes straight to my missed calls.

My caller ID read Concordia University. A man on the other end said, "Hello? Hello?" and then hung up. Although there is a Concordia University in Irvine, CA, this number is based in Oregon. Most likely a scam.

I literally just finished filling out the form on the website for Concordia and they are dialing my line.  You really can't investigate an option with out being harrassed!

Phone solicitors!  I think I remember this as a pop-up ad through a job search engine like monster or career builder when you click on a job posting.  Even though you say "Skip this ad" or "No thanks" it still get your phone number, from your resume?  I have suspected these job websites before on giving out personal info...I hope I'm wrong because that is sooo illegal, but who is going to stop them??  Nobody, apparently...

I think Sean is right because I got a call on my home phone and cell phone.  Nobody has that information except close friends. The only place they could have gotten it is Monster.  I really hope I am home the next time they call.

I totally agree with what you wrote about not being able to inquire about something without giving out your personal information, like a phone number, and then having the person or entity be almost like a tele-marketer!

True. Sold to a telemarketer company if you have responded to, emailed, called, inquired about, looked at, fill out a rental application, or rented from Sly Fox Property Management, Inc located in PDX, Or. They are stalkers.

Not a scam.  There is a Concordia University in Oregon, whose offices are based in California.  I got my master's degree there.
