They call before 8 am and after 8 pm.  No recording and no human..they just hang up on you.  Then when you call the number back a message says the number is unavailable.

I keep getting calls from this number and when I answer, they say they are calling from lajsdlfjadl;jfa (cant understand them) in Southern California and then it cuts out. When i try to call back, it just hangs up on my call after 3 seconds. who is this?

have gotten a number of calls from this number. When I answer there is nothing. no noise no dial tone no response.  Used caller id to call it back and I get nothing, no ring no busy signal nothing?????

I usually don't pick up the phone with numbers I don't reconize, but have been getting a lot telemarketer calls. This one asked for my husband and I told them since he works in a hospital he does not have a set schedule and it is hard to get a hold of him, so she asked me if she should put down wrong number and I said yes please do and hung up this was at 5:19 pm tonight, they just called again at 6:19 pm. argggggg!!

Called me 3 times today  and they spoke on only one call.  Said they were with Publishers Clearing and said I won a free round trip airfare and I qualify for the grand drawing for a all paid Hawaii trip and new car...all I had to do was choose the title of 4 magazines that I would get for free.....yea, right.  
The titles to choose from were some obscure toilet magazines (the kind you read in the bathroom only because you need to focus on something else)  Of course to be fully entered in the contest you have to subscribe at 5 dollars each.  At least she was up front about having to pay the subscription, rather than a hard sales pitch.  When I said I didn't want to pay for anything, she was polite and hung up.

Have UNLISTED-NONPUBLISHED number and I'm getting strange calls like this!!!!!  Ticks me off because I'm paying for the unlisted number - so how and where do they get my number? I DONT give it to anyone!!

Its aggravating - the phone rings anytime, day or night, disrupts my household!  Is there any way to stop these types of calls?

I thought we had a DO NOT CALL list that was in effect?

this number is a governmental number that taps your phone digitally this is why they call so much

Same Calling M/O as others. Some woman with an Indian Accent says I am Registered to Win Blah-Blah in a Drawing to be held Dec 2010!  After 7 Calls I did answer to hopefully never hear from her again!

When I called back....said it was a dental office? Weird thing is. . .they knew my husband's name?? Then she hung up on me

Same deal.  Multiple! calls. We don't answer.  Never a message.  Caller ID displays as Portland, OR.

Is there a way to block these unsolicited calls without answering?

Been getting calls from this number for weeks now.  With caller ID, I do not answer them unless I know who's calling.  I have been on the "do not call" list since its inception.  Hooray for comcast...I have digital phone service that allows me to block numbers so they will be cut off before hitting the answer machine.  I can go online and add numbers like this bozo caller to be blocked. My service allows you to manually do this by dialing *77 to block a number, and *87 to unblock a number.  It would benefit you to contact your phone company to see if you can block these calls.

Have been receiving calls from this number for 2 days now. I do not answer them because they are during my work hours. Tried to call the number & it just shuts down

Have received numerous calls from this number.  I added this to my reject call list on my cell phone to block taking any more calls.  When I call back - no answer.  Due to other posts I now know who they are at least.

Got this call today.  Said they were from Publishers Clearing in California.  Said I had been entered to win and drawing was Dec. 2010.  Wanted to verify my address.  They already had my address.  Asked for no other identifying info and didn't say they were trying to sell me anything.  When I asked questions about how I was entered, they were vague about it being through my bank or major credit card.  I tried not to use the word "yes" at all.  Sounds like a scam to me.
